"I didn't let you down"He sighs once more.

"You kinda did Brennan.I looked like an idiot for the past forty minutes just sitting there with an orange juice and declining every offer I got from a waitress because I was to busy staring at the door waiting for you"My heart beats faster and my lungs breath the rainy air.

"Can we go inside and talk things out,it's beginning to pour"Brennan shivers with dripping hair.

"You had your chance"I say coldly and begin to keep walking through the pounding rain.

"No Annie wait please"Brennan yells while leaving me assume he is running after me because of all the splashes of water u got in my socks.

He had a strong grip of my arm and flung me around to face him.

"Look if you really truly like someone else that's fine Annie"He speaks

"I like you and only you,you were the first boy I ever liked and no matter what happens you will always stay in my heart."I whisper through my now forming tears.

Silence grew upon us but the thumping rain was there to fill in.We stared at each others eyes for a good minute or so.

"Brennan?"I ask,speaking once more and braking the awkward silence.

"Yeah?"

"Ki-"I got inturupted

"Kiss you?"He asks with the slightest smile.

I nod my head and smiled back.

He places his hand on my cheek and put a little hair behind my ear as I still stood there looking like I've been under a spell.

The temptation of his lips on mine was going crazy inside me and the pouring rain that we happened to be standing in made it even worse.I couldn't take it any longer.

I wrapped my arms around the back of his neck and placed my lips on his.Our lips moved in sync and I felt like the world had stopped and we were placed in a romantic movie where they kiss in the rain.

Turns out he didn't let me down.
