Chapter 13: Bank Of America

*** Vier P.O.V ***

"How did you forget to save the audio track, Cameron?" I say in an irritated tone on the phone.

"I don't know, Vier. I'm really sorry. What am I going to say to Jordan?" He says back to me upset. 

"I don't have time for this. I have a meeting at the bank in 25 minutes. My moms coming back to the car, bye Cam." I said to him lying, hanging up the phone. 

"It's okay sweetheart, things happen for a reason." She says to me making turning right off the express way. 

"Are we almost there. I'm so excited!" I said tapping my phone on my leg.

"We will be there in at least 8 minutes, let's not go crazy." She says being sarcastic. 

"How much are you actually gonna give me, why won't you tell me!" I beg for an answer. 

"Fine. I'm going to put half a million in this account, and this is your money, so spend it wisely." replying bluntly, and very assuring. 

"Wow! That's honestly ridiculous." I said back to her. "Why so much?"

"Because you're my darling baby boy, and I love you, and want you to have everything you want, because it's what you deserve!" She says back to me in her Martha voice. 

"Ha! I love you too Fairy God Mother." I said back to her getting on my phone.

"We're here!" She pulls up into the back of the store. "We go through the back, because we're not everyone else!" She says as she gets out the car. I follow. 

"Nicki, Vier, We've been expecting you. Right this way please." A personnel escorted us in.

"Through this door please." Another room we go. 

"Go down this hallway and make a left, the boss will be waiting for you." He said, and we listened, but Nicki seemed to already know where to go. 

"How do you know your way around here?" I ask her as I walk by her side.

"You think this is a random bank? This is my bank. I only give my son the best!" She said opening a door and stepping into an office. 

"Dear Old Nicki!" A young woman says firmly as we walk in. 

"I love that song." I add, as I sit down in the seat in front of a large desk. Mom sits by my side. 

"So we're here to open up another Bank Account. And please, as fast as possible!" Nicki says bluntly, getting straight to business.

"Yes of course, I need to see a birth certificate, and your ID Nicki. You know what, forget it. How old are you Vier?" The lady said,

"I'm 16." I say to her as she types on the computer.

"Are you loading any money into the account right now, or will this be happening later?" the bank teller asked. 

"Yes. We will be loading cash today." Nicki stepped in and said. "$540,000 please." 

"And will we be taking this out of your account, Ms. Miraj?" 

"Yes please." she finished. 

"Since your a special guest, you can get a customized debit card. What color would you like Vier?"

"Hmmm, got any blue?" I quickly replied. 

"Wonderful choice." she types a few more sentences. "Okay we're all set. The name on the account is Vier K. Miller, under management of Onika Tanya Miraj. You guys sit tight, while I go wire the money, and activate the card." The Bank Teller says before she gets up with her laptop and leaves the room. 

"Wow, I thought you said half a grand?" I look at her shaking my head. 

"You'll be fine. I'm just hoping theirs no paparazzi outside." She said bluntly.

"Can't wait to buy things off the internet!" I said in excitement. 

"As long as your happy baby boy. And I looked into that Turbo Porsche you said you wanted, they have one in Matte Black." She said showing me a picture on her phone.

"Mom, I was kidding about that car. I don't even have a driver's license." I said to her laughing. 

"Well I already bought it, so we'll just have to enroll you into drivers classes." She said taking the phone back. 

The Bank Teller comes back in the room. 

"Okay Vier. Your account is up and running. Thank you so much for using Bank Of America." She says handing me a debit card with my name on it. 

"Thank you so much!" I said as I got up, and followed Mom out to the back of the bank. 

I have my own money now, let's go have some fun!
