After Elizabeth and her daughter had left, Richard apologised for even looking at the girl.

“I love you, only you Anne. She cursed me. I had a fool’s eyes. You are the most wonderful, beautiful woman I have ever known. You are my Queen.”

Anne was dressed as the Medieval Queen now and Richard was delighted at the sight.

“I think I would have made a good Queen,” she remarked. “But I am so happy here, with you and the children. Oh, and I have some news for you also.” Anne snatched something out of her bag. Richard stared at her dubiously. It was a pregnancy test. And it tested positive.

“But I thought…” he began, in a state of shock and happiness.

“We were wrong. We’ll have a little girl this time. And after that we’ll have as many babies as that Woodville woman!”

"Happy Halloween, Anne."
