The door swung open almost the second Stacey removed her finger, and two stunning girls stood before us.

"Hey guys, welcome to Alpha Chi Omega, where you can find the best girls, the best parties, the best booze, and the best house on campus." One of the girls stepped forward and grabbed Stacey's hands before leading her further into the house. The other girl, a petite brunette, smiled at me, and linked her arm with mine.

"We got them covered, Zayn, why don't you go babysit someone else." The girl called over her shoulder. I heard Zayn laugh and the door close. Music was playing throughout the house and all the rooms were packed with shouting girls.

"How do you know Zayn?" The girl asked me curiously.

"He's friends with my roommate, Stacey." I gestured vaguely in front of me where Stacey had disappeared.

"Oh. I thought maybe you two were.....you know." She winked at me and I widened my eyes.

"Oh no, definitely not." I blushed.

"Okay good, because trust me, been there done that." She laughed and I shifted uncomfortably.

"You two went out?"

"Oh yah, all the girls in our sorority have dated at least one guy from Phi Kappa Psi."

I assumed that was the name of the fraternity Zayn was in. One more reason not to join a sorority. I wasn't exactly looking for a boyfriend, they seemed like distractions.

"So what's your name?" The girl asked me.

"Genevieve, but you can call me Gene if it's easier." I answered as we entered the kitchen.

"Wow, that's genuienly a really beautiful name! My name's Allison." She beamed at me and I smiled back politely.

"And why did you choose Alpha Chi Omega?" She inquired. I squirmed anxiously.

"I'm sorry, I really didn't. I'm just here with my roommate. I'm really sorry." I answered honestly. Allison threw her head back and laughed.

"It's okay, I could kinda tell when you walked in. You looked really lost."

"I was." I said. "Actually, I just learned what rush is today." I admitted. Allison laughed again, but stopped abruptly when another girl approached us.

"Would she like a cupcake?" The girl asked Allison. Allison glared at her before saying "Not yet." The girl pursed her lips and walked away. I narrowed my eyes.

"What was that about?"

"Just some stupid Greek crap." Allison quickly said.

"It's okay, you don't have to explain. I'm definitely not joining a sorority anyway. No offense." Greek life just wasn't for me.

"None taken at all. And as a matter of fact, I can tell you now, since you aren't joining. It's just a code we made up. If I say you do want a cupcake then I'm saying you're a keeper. Since we have so many girls rush for our house, we're suppose to walk around with them for 5 minutes, get to know them and then decide if we want them to stick around." Allison explained as we walked closer to the front door. I nodded my head.

"Wow that's actually really smart."

Allison laughed at my surprise.

"Well, I really hope I see you around Gene, you seem like a really smart girl. It's a shame you aren't interested in a sorority, but come by if you ever want to talk." Stacey leaned in and hugged me, and I surprised myself by hugging back. Maybe I was becoming friendlier. Normally, I would never have even thought about hugging a girl I had just met a couple minutes ago.

"You too, Allison. Thank you for everything." I walked out the door and heard it gently close behind me, effectively cutting off all the chatter. It took me a few moments to realize I had no way to get back to my dorm. I walked along the sidewalk throughout the Greek village and admired the bright lights decorating each house, providing plenty of light to see where I was going. I assumed it was around 8 at night. It was times like these when I wished I had a phone. I had never had one as a child, due to lack of money, but I managed.

Occasionally, a group of girls and guys would walk across the street, traveling to the next house, but I remained alone. After about 10 minutes, I had to admit to myself I was lost. I crossed the street and sat on a bench in front of a large brick house labeled "ΦΚΨ". Something told me that it was a fraternity, but I was too tired to care. I leaned against the bench and felt myself slipping until I was lying on my side. My eyelids felt heavy and a nap sounded really good right now. Somewhere nearby a door swung open, but I ignored it and drifted off.

I woke up and immediately knew something was wrong. I was soaking wet. Someone was leaning over me, gently picking me up with their arms. It was pitch black outside and I suddenly realized it was pouring rain. I felt myself being carried up a few stairs and then a door being opened. I heard a few distant voices, but I kept my eyes closed.

"Dude, what the fuck?"

"She was outside sleeping and it was fucking lightning out there. What was I suppose to do?"

"Jesus Niall, what have you done?"

I heard a few other vague whispers that I couldn't make out. I was set down on a soft cushion and a blanket was thrown over me before I passed out once more.

When I finally woke up, I heard voices all around me. I kept my eyes closed.

"Damn when is she going to wake up?"

"Let her sleep." A familiar voice said.

"Do you think she'd make breakfast for us, if we asked?"

"Shut up, Louis. Don't even think about it." There were a few snickers before I heard pounding footsteps getting closer.

"Hey, what's going on guys?" A voice asked.

"Niall decided to bring a girl into the house, which by the way, has never happened before."

"Shut the fuck up."

"Really Niall? Who is she?"

"I don't know. Fuck, how am I suppose to know."

"Wait, I know her."

My eyes sprung open and I shifted myself up and turned towards the boy who said he knew me.

"Zayn?" I gasped. "Where am I?" I looked around to find myself on a couch with about 10 boys standing around, more than half of them covered in tattoos. "What the fuck?" I exclaimed. I had no memory of what had happened last night. Almost immediately, I clamped my hand around my mouth and apologized for swearing. "Sorry." All the boys laughed and I quickly checked to make sure I was still wearing my dress, which thankfully I was.

"You're in the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity house." Zayn said, running a hand through his hair. "I have no idea why though."

"Why don't you ask Niall." A boy called out. Everyone looked at a blonde haired guy and I was stunned at all his piercings and tattoos. He seemed to have more than anyone in the house. The boy rolled his eyes and he seemed angry.

"She was fucking sleeping on our bench and it was fucking raining. So I brought her inside. There. Happy?" He made eye contact with me and I flinched at his harsh gaze.

"Whatever, someone take her home, I already did my part." The boy, Niall, said, walking out of the room.

"Damn, who fucked with him this morning?" A curly haired boy asked, earning a round of nervous chuckles.

"C'mon, Gene, I'll take you home." Zayn said, beckoning for me to get up. I nodded and got up from the bed. I was mortified to see my dress ride up as I got up and a few boys whistled.
