Calum's pov
I knew Hope worked her ass off from the moment we walked into the door, instead of the house looking like a five-year-olds birthday party, she turned into a club almost.
Flashy lights, beer, wine for the mums, food.
Oh yeah, she brought our mums. I didn't even know she was doing that. Luke was dazed about the fact that Jack was here. I felt bad that Liz turned Hope down, Jack was the only other person on earth that had the last name Hemmings and liked Hope.
Luke's mom hated her, and his dad couldn't care less.
They thought Hope was a street rat with no parents, no class, and no taste. The last part made no sense, no taste? Who gives a fuck about if someone has no taste it not?
I'm currently sitting alone while the rest of the boys get drunk, most of the side friends Hope invited left and it was maybe three in the morning.
I was just staring at the girl Jen brought over. Wow, Calum creepy much?
She was really pretty, she had purple hair, contacts that made her eyes purple, and I swear I saw something behind her ear, I had a bit to drink so I could be drunk. But I saw something, I can't describe what I saw.
I see Hope drag a drunk Molly into the kitchen, Ashton follows pretty hammered himself.
I tell myself it's time to get up. I walk over to the kitchen.
Hope's holding Molly's hair back as she throws up, Hope makes gagging noises but pulls through.
"Are you okay now? Here sit down I'll get you some water." She says she hands a bottle to Molly and Ashton. They both down the drink. "maybe you two should get some sleep?"
"Yeah, thanks, Hope, we will be off to bed now." Ashton slurs.
The drunk couple stumbles out of the kitchen.
"Hard day?" I laugh.
"Yeah, it's hard to keep everyone happy while maintaining happiness yourself." She whispers.
"You're not happy?" I say.
She shakes her head. She looked super tired. "I haven't got a chance to sit down, I either am cleaning vomit or holding someone hair back as it happens." She sighs.
"Sorry H," I say, I pull my best friend into a hug. She looked defeated.
"Do you think he liked it? He's stubborn so I can't tell." She giggles.
"No, I think he loved it, your a great person Hope. I'll kick his ass if he ever hurts you!" I dramatically threaten. I told her this almost every day, she was used to hearing it. I wasn't too worried. Luke was a great person. Over these five years, they haven't had one fight.
But I guess everyone has their breaking point.
Tristan's pov
I stand still holding a cup off who knows what. Jen dragged me here thinking I could meet someone, she suggested Cal, he was the only one who didn't have a girlfriend.
I am sick of her trying to find me, guys. I have been that roommate that no one cares about. She doesn't tell people about me, then she brings me to a party saying I'm the new girl in town.
I am forced to smile and have a 'good time.'
I respected the girl who set all of this up, I think her name was Hope. Her boyfriends 20th birthdays was today, he seemed nice. I knew these four boys were famous I just didn't care for their music. They are good people but I just hide in my room listening to Panic! At The Disco. I like being by myself. It gives me time to think and plan. Think about planning. Planning about making plans.
Plans that never happen.
Jen works at a tattoo shop, she makes a new friend by saying she's new to town. I feel bad for Hope. If only she knew what kind of person Jen was. I feel even worse for Michael, Jen is just going to break his heart.
"What's a pretty girl like you doing alone?" A gorgeous brown eyed says. He seemed a bit drunk. I was a little buzzed myself.
"I don't know, waiting for a guy like you to save me I guess." I tease, he sensed the cockiness in my tone. I just smiled along.
"Well, here I am, Care to dance beauty?" He smirks holding out his hand. My heart skips a beat, I hide my blush with a confident nod. He takes me to the middle of the living room we all the other drunk boys were.
"Names Calum, what about you purple eyes?" He questions. This is Calum? Wow. Damn. I blush.
"Names Tristan." I sing with an approving grin. He smiles.
"Okay, Tris, nice to meet you." He says he adds in a sly smile with makes my heart sink again.
"CALUM!!" A blonde shouts from the other side of the room. Calum twists his head around.
"Until next time Tris." He whispers leaving me flustered and ecstatic.
Apparently, Michael threw up and Hope couldn't deal with him. Poor Hope, living with four boys. At least she doesn't live with someone as fake as Jen.
I sink into the couch, I didn't know where Jen was, maybe I can get a ride home.
I spot Hope sitting on a bar stool, I walk over and smile.
"Hey, uh Tristan." She says she looks terrible.
"Hey, Hope. You look lonely. Wanna talk?" I offer. She nods.
"I feel as if Luke, my boyfriend isn't happy with this. Did I do enough?" She asks.
"You did well over enough girl! If I were Luke I would be the happiest person alive." I say. She laughs.
"Thanks, man, I just want him to be happy." She says. "You look tired, I can ask Calum if you can crash in his room. I'm sure he will end up in the fridge or some shit anyway."
"Oh, yeah that's fine if he's alright with it."
She talks to Calum and he agrees. She takes me to his room.
"I'm right next door, come get me if you have a problem. Just know before you open the door." She winks. I laugh. I climb into the warm bed.
It felt a bit weird sleeping in his bed, he wasn't in here with me so I guess it's fine. I drift off and dream about what it would be like if he was next to me.
Thank ya for reading! Sorry, it's been awile, ily anyway.
