Once me and Jacob go home to our apartment that we bought after Adam and Garrett moved out of our old house, I pick up the letter Erik sent me. I only got just this morning. I open it back up and I read it again.

Dear Emily,

First off, I hope you are doing well and I miss you dearly. Victoria and the kids are doing fine. As for Father well...... he is starting to become forgetful. So right now I am taking care of his affairs.

But at this moment I worry about you. The murders in Whitechapel have reached Scotland. I worry about your safety. Father worries for you.

So I invite you to come to Scotland, and you can stay with Victoria and I. In the envelope I have a train ticket for you, if you so choose to come.

Your Brother,
Erik Drake

I place the letter down on a table, and I sigh. I look in the envelope and I see a train ticket. I feel arms being wrapped around me. I smile I turn around and I wrap my arms around Jacob's neck. His forehead leans on mine. Jacob chuckles.

"Remember, when we first met in your Uncle Aleck's shop, and you were starring at me with those beautiful blue eyes," Jacob reminds me when I practicality embarrassed myself around him. I peck his lips with a smirk plastered on my face.

"Yes I do, and I also remember your terrible driving skills," I tell him. Jacob rolls his eyes. He kisses my lips, I cup his face. Jacob then pulls away and he looks down at me.

"Just as beautiful as when I first met you," Jacob coos, I smile and I kiss him once more.

"And your just as handsome and dashing as when I first met you," I coo to him, "I can't believe it's been 20 years since we got married," Jacob chuckles.

"I know, and our children are basically adults," Jacob points out.

"Yeah, I feel they just grew up too fast," I say, "Garrett and Adam are moved out and Charlotte will leave us sooner or later," I say and I start to choke up. When our children were growing up, I always dreaded the day when they would move out.

Jacob hugs me a little tighter. I lean my head in the crook of his neck. Jacob kisses the top of my head.

"Emily, Garrett and Adam were bound to leave us, and as for Charlotte well I think she won't leave until she marries," Jacob tells me. I nod. I peck his lips again.

Charlotte's POV

I go to find Damien, knowing he will be one of The Dead Kings strongholds. Damien helped both Garrett and Adam start the newly formed gang. So Damien is also one of the leaders.

The Dead Kings have blue attire, and they are allies with Father's Rooks. I go to Lambeth and I find Damien at one of the strongholds. I look at him for a moment.

Damien has slicked back brown hair and blue eyes. He is very handsome. He has a scar on the right side of his lip and another on the left side of his neck. He has a stubble of a beard growing. He is about 5ft 11in. Where as I am 5ft 4in. He is also from Ireland, and he even has an Irish accent.

Damien usually fights with a kukri, but I have seen him fight with brass knuckles. I fight with a kukri.

I run up to Damien. He sees me and he smiles down at me. I do find him attractive, and I do have a crush on him. I think he likes me but I won't know until I ask, right? But I'm not here for that, I'm here to inform him about the lasted victim.

"Damien! The Ripper has done it again, he killed another!" I inform him. He looks at me shocked.

"Who did he kill?" He asks me. His Irish accent isn't thick but it was attractive.

"Annie Chapman," I tell him. He shakes his head.

"Does your family know?" Damien asks me. I nod my head, "thank you for telling me, Charlotte," I weakly smile, I start to walk away, but Damien grabs my wrist. I look up at him, "promise me you will be careful on the streets. If you ever see anything out of the ordinary, you come to me, please promise me you will do this," I nod my head.

"I promise," I say. Damien nods, and he hugs me. I look up at him with my hazel eyes starring at him. His blue eyes meet mine. He leans on and he gently kisses my lips I kiss him back.

I hear some of the gang members chuckling and making comments, but Damien holds up his middle finger at them while still kissing me. They all shut up. But then Damien pulls away from me.

Damien looks up at something, I look in the same direction and I see a dark figure in the distance on top of the rooftops. But then a buss passes us, blocking our view of the dark figure. Once the buss leaves the dark figure is gone.

Feeling a little bit of anxiety coming, I cling on Damien more. His hold on me tightens. He looks down at me.

"I'm walking you home," he tells me. I nod and he walks me home.
