He just falls back?

After TLO, Percabeth isn't together

ANNABETH POV

I left the bonfire early tonight, I was tired and honestly I just didn't want to be there. This girl was all over Percy, flirting with him. He, of course didn't notice, being the seaweed brain that he is but I had had enough.

I guess the fire was just ending anyways because I see campers streaming towards their cabins. As I'm approaching the Athena cabin someone pulls me to the side of it. It's dark so I can't quite see who it is, but I know it's a guy and he's muscular and much bigger than me.

He pins me against the back of the cabin with him way closer than I would like, and as hard as I try I can't push him off.

"C'mon baby, stop that." He says and pushes his body closer to mine so there's practically no space in between.

"Get the hell away from me" I hiss and just as he's about to kiss me I give one final push and he.... falls back? I mean, I like to think I'm pretty strong but what?

PERCY POV

After leaving the bonfire, I was on my way back to my cabin, and as I pass the Athena cabin I see a swish of blonde, curly hair and people talking in hushed voices. I go to investigate and see Annabeth being pinned to the cabin wall by a guy much bigger than her who is way to close to her. She's trying to push him off. As he's leaning in to kiss her, I rush from where I was hidden from view and pull him backwards by the collar of his shirt.

I stand there looking at Annabeth for a moment and she looks shaken. Suddenly she collapses into my arms and I hold her tight. It's already lights out so I bring her back to my cabin. She sits down on my bed and I sit next to her. Annabeth rests her head on my shoulder and whispers out a "thank you"

"Anything for my wise girl" I reply. Suddenly she's kissing me, just a soft kiss on the lips. I look at her then kiss her back, this time for longer, one of my hands on the small of her back, the other on her cheek. Her hands are tangled in my hair. We pull apart.

"Y'know that I've liked you, ever since we first met" She says quietly.

"Yeah me too" I reply, and she rests her head on my shoulder, and we just sit there, and it's perfect.
