I cleared my throat and stepped back, feeling uncomfortable from how close he was. I looked down at my feet for a few seconds and when I looked back up he looked, he looked, I don't know. I can't explain it, it looked like he was contemplating something. He shook his head as if he was clearing something out of his mind, something I also tend to do a lot. "Okay, so don't lose the keys, and if you don't mind, can I please go back to sleep." He bit his lip and shrugged, "Yeah, sure whatever." And with that he was gone.

After Zayn had left I tried to fall back asleep for at least an hour but couldn't seem to quite do it. I sighed and untangled myself from the blankets. I shivered once my feet hit the cold, hard wooden floor. I didn't bother putting on a robe considering it was just me here.

I opened the fridge, expecting to make eggs and bacon for breakfast but it was practically empty. "Shit" I muttered under my breath, angry at myself for forgetting to go shopping the week before. I hate shopping. I groaned as I made my way to my room to get dressed to go to the store.

I chose to wear simple black skinny jeans with a plain white shirt, dragging the brush through my unruly hair a few times before letting out a sigh, grabbing my keys and wallet, and making my way out the door.

I forgot my coat. Again. It wasn't as cold out as it was the last two days but it was still cold. I didn't have a car yet considering I'm only 18 and only have a small job at a cafe to support me. I was looking at the ground as I was walking when I ran into something. Or someone. I looked up and saw a boy with brown hair, kind of jagged but set just right and blue eyes. His eyes were beautiful. Oh wow okay I need to stop. "I'm sorry sir" I rushed out hoping that I wouldn't stutter and mentally giving myself a high-five when I didn't. "No problem." He smiled down at me, he looked like one of those guys that girls would melt at the sight of. I could tell why too.

"Why aren't you wearing a coat? It's pretty cold out here ya know" He chuckled and shoved his hands into his pockets to put more effect into his statement. "Yeah, I know, I kind of um, forgot mine, I was in a rush." "A rush to go where?" He raised an eyebrow at me then quickly jumbled out his words. "I'm so sorry, that was kind of personal...and creepy." I laughed a little at his apology. "No, no it's fine, I was just on my way to the store." I smiled at the fact that some random stranger actually wanted to have a conversation with me. Especially a guy.

"Oh, would you mind if I maybe joined you?" He scratched the back of his neck nervously. "That wouldn't be a problem at all." He chuckled at how fast I had answered and I could feel my face going red from embarrassment.

As we walked to the store we kept a good conversation going, which surprised me actually. I wasn't used to this but somehow I felt comfortable talking with him. A complete stranger.

We walked into the store, laughing about some extremely corny joke Collin had made. We had told each other our names half way through when we realized we didn't even know them. As soon as we walked in, I instantly, somehow, spotted him. Oh god no. Why. I tried to keep my smile from faltering as best as I could but with Zayn in the room it didn't work so well. Luckily, Collin didn't notice and kept talking. "So what do you do-" Collin had stopped in the middle of his sentence staring straight ahead, looking confused as ever. I followed his eyes, to where he was looking, to see him staring at fucking Zayn. "What's wrong?" I was concerned that he had conflict with Zayn or something relevant to that. "Nothing, it's just that guy has been staring at us this whole time." I was surprised he noticed that too, considering we had only been in the store for about 5 minutes or so. "You noticed that too?" I tried to sound clueless as to who Zayn was and I'm pretty sure Collin bought it. That was until, Zayn started to walk over here, looking annoyed, and may I add, very pissed off. I muttered a few profanities under my breath not wanting to deal with the tension that always surrounded me when Zayn was around.
