At the age of five, he began first grade, which is not normal for most children. He attended Spring Hill Elementary, and, unfortunately got stuck with the worst teacher he would ever have and ever know. Her name was Ms. Sokol and she discriminated him because of his age. He was bullied and put through pain that could not be forgiven pr forgotten. His mom showed him that she still loved him when she took Ms. Sokol out in the hallway and fought for Chad like no other mother would ever even think of doing.
Knowing that his mother would do this for him made him happy, and for once he actually knew what joy felt like. His life for a little while was be good, but his father would always find a way to ruin everything. Chad was hurt in many ways, but his dad would ultimately be the source of it all. Chad was fed up with it, but did not have the strength to stand up and fight back. He took the abuse of his father for many years. He went to school every day with a jacket on, hiding the bruises from his friends and teachers.
