In seventh grade, Chad found himself more than ever. Lauren ultimately toke the place of Leah and was there for him when he needed her. Seventh grade was difficult and was filled with more drama then he could of ever imagined. His dad still never got better, just more abusive. Except now he was abusing his mom too. It was around seven o'clock on a Friday night that Chad would realize that his dad would never change .
One night, Chad's dad, Brian, was yelling at his mom, Marie. Chad finally had enough and stood up for his mother but immediately was slapped and kicked across the room. He then figured it out: he had to be tough to survive the unending pain of his father. It was now passed the school year and into the summer. Chad just received a brand new case for his tablet and his mom was totally cool with it being that it was a laptop case. His dad on the other hand had a bunch of questions. Chad answered them all but his dad was not satisfied. So instead of asking better questions he took Chads new case and broke it. Because of this, Chad and his father broke out into a fight. For a short time his dad was winning but then Chad had remembered all of the pain of his previous years and he fought back and won. His dad realized he had been beat and sent Chad to his room for the rest of the day. His father blamed Chad for ruining his mother's birthday, so he did not speak to his son for the rest of the day. Chad didn't mind.
Now Chad is faced with new problem. He struggles with his sexuality and is still having issues with it.
