Something shocking

Three months later and approximately a quarter of Russia, more or less, was under rebel control. Shocker didn't wake up, but he was still alive. Wolf seemed in every day since then more and more worried. Ash and Artemis continued to make a stronger relationship. Tracker started in one way or another to feel something for Doc. Claw taught Hawk a few more tricks, some from the academy, some from his missions. Dark-Sunshine and Bat hadn't been seen very often. Amethyst and Night-eye took care of Annie, because they have to wait until the next academy transport. Phoenix became more and more worried about the connection between Zero and the mysterious one.

In the morning of 25th of June, almost the both teams were in the main control room, except four of them, including obviously, Shocker.

Phoenix: All right everybody, in the last months we all made a great job.

Double-X: Yes, you did.

Phoenix: X, what a surprise.

Night-eye: Yeah, I almost missed him.

Double-X: I'm glad to see you too, Night.

Night-eye: Yeah, whatever.

Double-X: Right...

Night-eye: Where's Zora?

Double-X: Traveling, looking for new special cadets.

Mech-Doc: How is it going with the standard soldiers recruiting?

Double-X: Good, actually, we're building an army and starting to take back Europe.

Night-eye: Lucky for you staying in... you know.

Double-X: Yeah, it's sure warmer than Russia.

Night-eye:: I bet about that.

Double-X: Anyway... how's the girl?

Phoenix: Good, we take care of her.

Double-X: Sorry we couldn't took her somewhere else... but we don't have any other safe points, and the academy can't-

Phoenix: Yeah, yeah, I know the protocol.

Double-X: What are-

Phoenix: Yes, I am a detective.

Mech-Doc: You said it, Phoenix.

Phoenix: Thanks Doc.

Double-X: All right then... I guess I'll leave you now, Double X, out.

Night-eye: Am I the only one who remarked that Phoenix started to hate X?

Mech-Doc: No, Night, you're not.

Night-eye: Doc-

Mech-Doc: You shut up.

Phoenix: Doc!

Mech-Doc: Yeah?

Phoenix: You're lucky you're my friend and brother... but if I catch you two brawling again, I'll make you don't do it a second time after that.

Night-eye: Sorry babe.

Mech-Doc: I didn't mean it, I just-

Phoenix: It's all right, I know, that's why I said "you two"

Night-eye: I get it. I said I'm sorry.

Phoenix: It's okay babe, chill out.

Night-eye: Okay...
