(12) In Which I See Her Again

Stranger POV

I had been watching her for a while now and in all honesty I don't know why Michael would want a girl like her. She was nothing special. She was just a black chick that appaerently had a lot. Over the years I had never liked her but never did anything to her since I had no real reason to but now the fact that Michael wanted her was just sickening.

Michael was supposed to be mine. I'm the one people teased him about and the one that everyone knew. Everyone wanted us together & besides no one knew about her she was an outcast her and her weird group that she calls "friends".

I knew some things had been going on since Michael and I were close so he eventually told me and about "their spot". What a joke and I bet she thinks they are the only ones who know. After her mall encounter with Michael and Antonio. I don't even get how Antonio likes her but he's not important to me. I watched her leave the mall and followed her to Katerina's place since they were having a sleepover.

I watched from across the street and I knew she had noticed by the countless of times she turned to look at me. It was easy to scare her since she never did anything to draw attention to herself but there is a plan behind everything. Just because we go to school together doesn't mean it's easy for me to spy on her.

All I truly wanted was to have Michael but with her still possibly still in the picture I'd have to do something to make her back off. She might not want to put all her trust into technology after all.

Keyisha POV

We walked together through the parking lot and a lot of eyes were on us. I began to get really self cautious because this had never happened in the past.

Antonio didn't make any moves to out his hands on me or make any physical contact. He looked distant. Even when he was telling me about Michael he felt like he didn't have a chance since I would probably pick Michael, but would I really?

Everyone deserves a second chance right? Ugh this is too frustrating

I hate the fact that Antonio is also apart of this and he's hurting because he doesn't want to go for the girl his friend likes cuz it already had happened and that didn't work out well.

The rest of the day passed by slowly and boring. Classes were normal but everywhere i looked it seemed that like everyone knew what happened but then in reality no one could. Sadé was happy and when she saw me and Antonio walking together earlier today she was more happy.

I rolled my eyes at the thought. How can she think that intervening is something that she should do. Besides there was nothing going on with me and Antonio in the first place.

With Christmas quickly approaching the cooler winds had picked up and there were the occasional days where it would lightly snow. You could see people snuggling close and walking together to keep their warmth. The school had been decorated for our annual winters ball which was at the end of the week.

It seems that our school always had dances but then again the months just pass by way to fast. I hadn't decided yet whether I should go or not considering what happened at the last dance but then again no ones face were gonna be covered and there's nothing going on anymore.

The bell had rung for the end of the day and I didn't want another ride with Antonio or with anyone for that matter. I went to my locker packed all my things and decided to walk home. The light air blew against my face as I left the school. I plugged in my headophones and put on The Civil Wars- The One That Got Away.

It began to lightly snow and I watched as the tiny snowflakes gracefully floated from above. They landed in the palm of my hand and I watched it melt.

I heard the approuch of a car coming from behind me but didn't pay much to it and just continued on my way. Soon after the car sped up ahead of me and parked a distance away. I began to approuch the car and it looked familiar, then a image of the day I was at Katerina's place popped into my mind.

It was the car that had been parked across the street from her house. I began to panic a bit but hid the expression from my face.

Before where the person had parked the car there was a crossing and I decided to cross sides to have put myself some distance between me and the car.

I crossed and looked across to the car. I could see a female figure with blonde hair but everythign else was covered in black. Obviously whoever it was didn't want me to know who they were. Turning back to face the direction I was going in I slowly picked up my speed until I felt a pair of arms grab me.
