Chapter 2: falling

Laneys p.o.v

This Corey guy seems suspicious I don't know something seems up with him like his eyes have tiny swirls inside of them, maybe it has something to do with this place my dad said about when I was younger hmmm, unfortunately my dad is gone.. "So u-" I said while being distracted by a shaking in the bushes. "Uh il be right back" I said. "Okay?" The others said. Then I started chasing the thing inside the bushes then it seemed to be a rabbit "huh that's odd" I said. Then I just watched it hop away "darn it you made her stop chasing you idiot!" I heard a voice say from the bushes. "Huh?" I said to myself. "Well sorry I tried..." I heard another voice say. Then I looked inside the bushes nothing... Then I walked back to the others "there you are sweetie!! It's time!" Mom said. "What time?" I asked. Then my mom just pulled me over to a balcony "uh..." I said confused. What the heck was happening? Then Corey walked over awkwardly with a box in his hands "just do it dude!!" I heard two boys say. Then Corey got on his knees and held out the box "Uh Laney, w-w-will you marry me?" Corey said.
"Uh I-I-I don't know.." I said. I still can't believe I have to marry at my age though... I'm only thirteen anyways, then I just ran off "LANEY!!" My mom yelled. All I saw was Corey run another direction, then I was out in a field by myself, then I saw that rabbit again I decided to chase it, it was gone eventually then I found a hole I got down to the ground to look inside and it was just a hole, then I suddenly fell in "AHHHH!!!" I screamed as I fell.
