Chapter 11: chatting

Laneys p.o.v

My heart was beating fast once I heard Cheshire was going to get his head chopped off "oh Laney you look uhm interesting" the white queen said. "It was the queens but I can take it off" I said looking outside. I tapped on the necklace Cheshire gave me and I turned back to the way I was when I came "happy now?" I asked. "Why so depressed?" The white queen asked. "It's just about Cheshire, he understood me out of everyone where I'm from..." I said blinking back tears. "He will be fine as I said" the white queen said. "He told me you to don't get along correct?" I asked. "Yeah, we don't get along that much just because he is annoying and thinks he is better than I" the white queen said. "Well then, by the way have you noticed the white rabbit probably likes you" I blurted out. "Wait what?" She asked confused. "Mhm" I said. She sat on the white couch with me and we chatted for a bit, the white queen is quite the interesting girl, "uhm Laney dear I have a question for you" the queen said. "Yes?" I asked. "Do you uh know what we sent you here for" the white queen said. "N-no" I said. "Well you must fight he fierce jaberwocky, a beast that is made out of bones no wonderlandian can ever defeat but you my dear your are special once you find you true power you will be able to stop it and save wonderland" the queen explained. "But maybe I can't be a hero." I said. "Don't worry you can be" the queen said putting her hand on my shoulder. "Maybe I don't want to be" I said getting up. I ran out of the room and ran towards the castle balcony I got there and just looked into the moon, "laney" I heard a voice say. "Who is it." I said. I felt a hand touch my shoulder and I turned around I saw the white rabbit "what do you want." I said. "I'm here to help." He said. "Help with what?" I asked. "The queen told me you weren't happy about fighting the jaberwocky" he replied. "Yeah yeah.. I just can't do it I'm only a simple girl who plays an instrument" I said. "You are not as simple as you think, just think about it you get along great with people like us, but you can't with normal people" the rabbit said. "Ya bu-" I said getting cut off. "Everyone is crazy in their own ways." The rabbit said. "I guess..." I said. "Look Laney there is more to you than you think, your mad just like us" the rabbit said smiling. "Thanks for helping" I said smiling. We both hugged and let go "so are you gonna fight it?" The white rabbit asked. "Yeah." I said. "Great! Now you must train" the rabbit said. We both ran out to the courtyard.
