Chapter 15: the fight

Laneys p.o.v

We arrived at a chessboard battlefield, I was still a nervous wreck, I can't take on a monster, but I have to for my friends and for wonderland, I hope I can do this. "Bring out the jabberwocky!!" The red queen yelled. Then they brought out this HUGE dragon, it was so big and scary looking I don't even think I can fight this thing "ARE YOU READY!!" The queen yelled. "I WAS BORN READY!!" The white queen yelled back. "ATTACKKK!!" The queen yelled. "Good luck lanes" I heard a voice whisper to me. "I'm ready.." I said. I pulled my sword from my pocket, the Knights unleashed the jabberwocky and it came towards me, I got in the right position and fought it the way Kim and the white rabbit taught me "LANEY!! Don't do it the way we taught you!! Do it your way!!" Kim yelled. "Uh but but! okay..." I said. Then I stood there "what is she doing?" Konnie asked Kim. Kim watched me while I stood there, my eyes start to light up, I levitated from the air a bit, then my sword turned into my bass and I whipped the jabberwocky with it multiple times "you can't scare me!!" I said. Then suddenly the jabberwocky hit me hard with its wing and I fell over "come on Laney there has to be another way" I said to myself. My sword turned back to normal and I looked at it, then it hit me "think of six impossible things before breakfast..." I said. My dad used to tell me that when I was younger I never have been able to actually do it but I'm going to try this time.. "Number 1, going to wonderland" I said as I walked towards it. Then I hit it with my sword all it got was a scar on its forehead "number 2, fighting a jabberwocky..." I said as I hit it again. This time one of its claws came off "number 3, meeting talking animals.." I said and it hit again. This time I got some of its teeth out, "number 4, necklaces that change your appearance" I said and hit it harder. This time one of its eyes came out "number 5, swo-" I said while getting cut off. The jabberwocky started to fly towards a torn down tower, I started chasing after it "number 5, swords that change into basses" I said as I hit it again. This time one of its ears came off, but then it used its tail to whip me to the edge, I was about to fall off "N-n-number 6, cakes that make you grow" I said. Then I hit it with my sword again and it's head came off!! I just defeated a monster I couldn't believe it!! "NOOOO! NOT MY JABBERWOCKY!!" The red queen yelled. Then her crown came off and landed o nthe white queens head, the sky turned into a brighter colour and all of the Knights went to the white queen "Knights seize her!" The white queen yelled. "Yes mam" one of the Knights said as they grabbed the red queen. Then I ran down from the tower "you did it lanes!" Core said as he ran towards me. We both hugged and smiled "core I have to tell you something..." I said. "Yeah lanes?" Core asked. "I- im glad I have you as a friend.." I said smiling. "I am to.." He said. "Laney, do you want to stay here in wonderland with us, or go home?" The white queen asked. "Oh, I uh want to go home. As much as you guys are awesome I have to return home, my mother is probably worried sick about me" I said. "Very well then, here you go, the jabberwocky's blood, you drink it, make a wish and it'll grant it" the white queen said. "Okay.." I said. "Wait, before I go I must tell Cheshire something" I said. "Yeah lanes?" Core asked. "Core, I kinda like like you..." I said. "Laney I, I like like you to..." Core said. "Really?" I said. "Yeah" core said. Then I just kissed Cheshire we both blushed hard, then I let go "goodbye..." I said smiling? I drank the blood and made my wish and I disspeared.
