CHAPTER 1

"The Comeback"

"Ladies and Gentlemen we are now landed in Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Local time is 22:15. " The captain announced. Great. After almost 14 hours of travel. I'm already back.

When we went out of the plane I Immediately get my luggage and had it checked with the Airlines Crew. After 15 minutes or so... I'm now at the arrival area, looking for my brother.

'Psh! Where is that Punk?'

"Eunice over here!" That very familiar voice. I turned around and find where it came from and there I saw my brother, Standing near a post- waving his hands on me.

I quickly walk towards him.

"Hey! How's you're flight?" He asked as he hugged me.

"Tiring. Can we go now? I'm so exhausted." I asked with a bored tone.

"Hahaha. Same old Eunice huh? The hot temper little girl."He said as he shake off my hair. Damn! He's so irritating.

"Whatever Euan!" I hissed as I walk and find my way out.

"Hep! Anim na taon ka lang nawala. Pero parang pati pag tatagalog nakalimutan mo na?"That made me stop.

"What are you talking about? Look Euan. I'm dead tired so please stop bugging me!" I almost shouted. Darn. Is he not aware that I still have Jet lag? That I'm not yet in a mood.

He didn't bother answering me and continue walking as he carries my luggage. I followed him and we stop besides a black Aston martin car. 'Whoa he got a cool car.'

"Nice car."I uttered as soon as I get in the passenger seat. He's still quiet and it really bothers me. God knows how much I missed him and yet he's acting like this. Aisshh.

"I'm sorry ok. I was just so tired." I didn't know it came out though I'm thinking of it.

"Okay lang. Naexcite lang naman ako nung makita kita agad. I should have let you rest bago kita kinulit."He took a glance on me.

"I missed you too brother." I sincerely say as pinched his cheeks.

"I know. Pero seryoso ka di ka na marunong magtagalog?"That made me laugh. Why would I even forget it? I punch him lightly on his shoulder."Hey I'm driving." He complained.

"Of course. I still know how to. It's just that...."I let out a sighed."I'm no longer used to it."

"Come on Eunice! Start speaking tagalog. Nasa pilipinas ka na oh."

"Why? Is that a big deal with you?"

"Oo. Dahil kung hindi iiwan kita sa kung saan bahala ka maghanap ng matutuluyan mo at kapag naligaw ka at nagtanong ng direksyon sa kung sino na hindi nakakaintindi ng Ingles. Lalo kang maliligaw."

He's teasing me now. Fine. I'll speak tagalog if that's what he wants.

"Yun ay kung maliligaw ako." I said as I raise my right eyebrow.

"Yan. Ganyan dapat." I Just smiled to him and make my self comfortable as I closed my eyes.

It's been six years and I know I've change. Change for the better.
I wonder how is he? Should I look for him?
