"He has a fractured skull,he got 3 gunshots,one on his left arm and one on his right leg and one near his heart. I would say he got about 40% chance to live." The doctor said.
Tears were streaming down my face as I held Jason's hand.
"It's going to be alright, Lauren. Jason is a surviver." Ryan said and laid his hand on my back.
"Tell me. Tell me what happened." I said to Ryan who was behind me.
"I-uhm. Lauren I don't think you really wanna know." Ryan said nervously.
"Ryan,c'mon. Please."
Ryan sighed and sat down on the white couch in the room.
"So there's a west and east side, right? So Justin is the gang leader on the west side and there's another gang leader on the east side and he's called Angelo. The west and east side was allies way back in the days but when Jason took over the west side, and Angelo took over the east, it started a war. Basically Angelo has always been jealous of Jason, whatever Jason had, Angelo had to get it too. And it's been like that ever since they were born. Like I said, it's war. And Jason was in it today, that's what happened." Ryan explained.
"Angelo? Surname please."
"Armano. Why?"
What the hell? Could it be Giovanna's brother?
"J-Just wondering." I replied. Suddenly the familiar iPhone ringtone was heard from my pocket. I grabbed it from my pocket and saw Mom at the display, so I swiped right to answer.
"Hello?" I said.
"Hi,honey. I didn't want to bother you, but Lily is missing her mommy and she hasn't stopped crying. So I wondered if I could bring her to the hospital?"
"Oh,uhm yeah sure."
"Great! I'll see you in a bit." And with that, she hung up.
"Who was it?" Ryan asked.
"My mom. She's brining Lily." I said and smiled. I haven't seen Lily since two days ago.
"Who is Lily?Your sister?" I shook my head and giggled.
"You'll see."

"Hi, mom." I said and hugged her. We had agreed to meet outside Jason's room since Lily was still crying.
"MM..Mommy!" Lily said and jumped in to my arms.
My little princess.
"I missed you too, sweetheart." I said and kissed her fat cheeks. Lily's crying turned into sobs as she put her head in the crook of my neck.
"D-Daddy whe-re?" Lily asked and looked up. I looked at mom who was staring at us with a love in her eyes.
Fuck, what do I tell her?
"He's... sleeping,sweetie." I said and stroked her cheek. I'm sorry but I'm obsessed with Lily's cheeks, they're so chubby and you just want to squeeze them until they turn red.
"Where?" She asked again.
"Well, I'll see you later, momma." I said and hugged mom as best as I could with Lily in my arms.
"You better call me." Mom kissed my forehead and then walked to the elevator.
"C'mon, baby. Let's go and see daddy." I said and opened the door to Jason's room.
I really didn't want Lily to see her dad laying on a hospital with all kind of tubes in to his body to help him survive.
"Oh, Lily meet uncle Ryan. And Ryan meet Lily." I said. Ryan looked with big eyes at her before a smile broke out.
"Hi,princess." Ryan said while trying to kiss Lily's cheek but Lily turned her head and tried to hide by laying her head on my shoulder.
"Sorry, Lily's always been a bit shy." I smiled and stroked her hair.
"Daddy!" Lily screamed out and tried to wiggle out of my arms. I sighed and walked over to the bed to let Lily take a look on Jason's bruised face.
"Daddy..." Lily whispered and tried to stroke Jason's cheek, but majority of his face was covered by the oxygen mask.

Yaay! New chapter!♡ I just wanna say thank you to everyone who commented on the last A/N. You guys showed that you were here to support me and wrote all kind of nice things. And let me say I love you to the moon and back because I really do, without you guys I wouldn't be where I am today, I wouldn't be sitting here uploading this chapter with my really slow internet but hey, it's something🐳
