"Uhm, you forgot your phone in the car." I said.
"Daddy!" Suddenly I had a pair of small arms wrapped around my head and a pair of legs wrapped around my waist.
Now that my brain could react, I realized that it was Lily who jumped at me.
"Hi,princess." I said and kissed her fat cheeks.
"Daddy?" Someone said. I looked up and saw a women with long brown hair and similar eyes like Lauren, guess it's her mom.
"Oh, hi. I'm Jason. Lauren's boyfriend. It's nice to finally get to meet you,Mrs. Hastings." I said and held out my free and to her.
"Boyfr-" Lauren started. But her mom interrupted her.
"It's nice to meet you too,Jason. I'm Lauren's mother, Isabella. Oh and I'm not married anymore." Her mom said with a raised eyebrow as she looked at Lauren.
"He's not my boyfriend." Lauren said with her arms crossed over her chest.
"She doesn't wanna admit it." I said and kissed her cheek. Lauren gasped and gave me a slap on my bicep.
"Well, I'm gonna leave you lovebirds alone. And you, you better call me." Isabella said and pointed her finger at Lauren.
"Bye,baby girl. See you later." Isabella said and kissed Lily's cheek. Lily waved at her grandma and then laid her head back on my naked shoulder.
"Why the he- Why did you tell her you were my boyfriend, Jason?" Lauren asked and slammed the door shut.
"Because you are mine,babygirl." I said with a smirk.
"Jason, I'm not an object." Lauren said and took a sleepy Lily away from my arms.

2 months later... "Uhm are you sure it's just a bug?" Stella asked as she held my hair. When I finished throwing up in the toilet, I just nodded.
"It's fine, really." I said and washed my face.
"You know what? I'll be back soon, don't go anywhere." And with that, Stella ran out of the bathroom. A moment later I heard a car start.
I wonder where she's going.
Anyways, I got out of the bathroom and got in my bed wth my Macbook so I could finish How To Be Single.

When I was 10 minutes in to the movie, Stella burst into the room with a brown paper bag in her hand.
"Oh Jesus Stella! You scared me!" I screamed.
"Well sorry." She said as she poured out 4 different... pregnancy tests?
"Stella what is this?" I closed my Macbook and put it aside.
"Pregnancy tests, duhh."
"Do you seriously think that I'm pregnant?" I said and picked up the pregnancy test from the bed.
"You have clearly been having this qoute-unquote bug for like 2 months now." Stella said and did the whole gesture. I rolled my eyes and walked to the bathroom with the pregnancy tests in my hand.
I sat down on the toilet and.. you know, peed on the sticks. It said in the instructions that you needed to wait 5 minutes, so I laid down the tests on a piece of toilet paper on the counter.
"In five minutes, I'll say: What did I say?" I said and sat down on my bed.
"Pfft, hell no. In five minutes, it's going to be me who says: What did I say?" Stella said sassy.
After three minutes of silence Stella said something that got my interest.
"I wonder what Jason will say when he finds out that you're pregnant."
"He's not going to say anything because I'm not pregnant." I said when Stella walked into the bathroom.
"You sure about that, mommy?" Stella said as soon as she walked out of the bathroom with all the tests in her hand.
"What?!" I shouted and looked closely at the tests.
"No,no i-it can't be r-right."
"Lauren,baby. You've got a + on all four tests. I'm pretty sure you're pregnant." She threw away the tests in the trash can.
"Why are you so.. worried? You've been pregnant before, what's the difference?" Stella asked.
"Because... because Lily was planned. A-And what if Jason d-doesn't w-want a b-baby?" I put my head in my hands and started crying. Stella wrapped her arms around me and gave me a kiss on the crown of my head.
"T-the bad t-thing is that... I kind o-of have a little s-spark for J-Jason. And.. I'm not r-ready to let him go. And Lily loves him so much already, what am I going to say when he's not around anymore?"
"He's not going to leave you or Lily, Lauren. You know why? Because everytime I see you with him, he always has this.. I don't know, a glint of love in his eyes for you, and the same with Lily."
Suddenly, the usual iPhone ringtone was playing from my phone. I picked it up and saw Jason on the screen so I swiped right to answer the call.
"Hello?" I said.
"Uhm.. is this Lauren?" A unfamiliar voice said.
"Yes, who is it?"
"It's Ryan, one of Jason's close friends. I'm calling because, uhm... Jason is in the hospital."
