(Samantha's POV)
When Me and Jessica walked into the band room there were only 3 kids there already. But when 5 mins passed 18 more people came in the classroom. It was a ok amount... for right now.
Our band teacher was Ms.Chappel. She was kinda mean at first but when you kiss up to her she will be nicer. She asked us questions about the instruments we played and how our summer was. Then she looked at me and asked me my name.
Ohh... my name is Samantha Flores, I said
Well Samantha, Do you write songs or make music?, she asked.
Yea, sometimes (ALL THE TIME), I said
What kinda music do you like?, she asked
I like Alternative and Indie, I like The Neighbourhood, Twenty One Pilots, Melanie Martinez stuff like that, I said.
Wow!! I am impressed, will you come up here and show us how you play? she asked
God..... I never played in front of people before except my parents and Jessica.
(nervously) Ok..... I said
I went up there and I played "This Is How It Goes" By: Me. I played it on the guitar and at the beginning I played so good and went I got to the end I began to shake. What if they don't like it? I asked inside my head.
When I finished up the rest of the song. The class was smiling and they cheered and clapped. I blushed alittle bit.
Oh my lord. That was amazing!! What song was that?, Ms.Chappel asked
I told her and she freaked out.
Well that was amazing good. I hope your album get noticed by alot of people.
Everyone was SHOCKED!!
As 2 minutes passed by the bell rang.
Everyone was leaving the classroom and people gave me high fives and said I was good. I felt like a star. Then, I checked my phone and I saw so many notifications. I froze.
What is it Sammy,? asked Jessica
Someone posted my performance on Instagram and Twitter. , I said
And the next minute I got one important phone call. The receiver said "Columbia Records"
Then I answered it.
