~Avery's POV~

1:00 am.

2:00 am.

3:00 am.

I wait and wait. I am laying on the couch in the living room. After me and Harp's argument, she stormed off to walk home. But I forgot, she had no idea where the house was. I let her just leave without knowing where she was going.

Vic has been laying here with me trying to comfort me. I feel like hell. I let my own friend get lost somewhere in San Diego. What if she isn't just lost? What if someone kidnapped her, or she is getting tortured or something?

"I think we should go to sleep. Harper is smart, she will find her way back home." Vic says to me. I look up at him and frown.

"You think we should just go to sleep? You can, but I am going to stay up until she gets back." I reply.

"Avery, you need to sleep." Vic says with concern. I give in and we go into the bedroom. I lay on the bed next to Vic.

"I miss her already." I whisper. Vic turns to me.

"So do I, but we can't worry about her so much. If she isn't back in the morning we will call the police." He promises me. How did I end up so close to such an amazing guy?

"You are amazing, you know that?" I ask him, smiling. I prop myself up on my elbow and look at him.

"I know I am amazing." He says grinning. I laugh and for some reason we stop and just look into each others eyes. I find myself leaning forward and closing the gap between us. As our lips touch, it's pure electricity. He puts his hand up on my neck and pulls me in more, deepening the kiss.

~Tony's POV~

I don't think anyone is mad at Avery besides me. Harper has been through literal hell for the last few months, and Avery goes and fucks up everything. She got into an argument with Harp about something dumb probably. Probably Jaime's girlfriend I imagine, considering Harper had spent some time trying to get to know her.

After we got back home I went directly to my room. I put on my headphones and lay in bed. I turn my playlist on and put it on shuffle. After about 10 minutes, Circles comes on. I don't really listen to our own music too much. I prefer to listen to other peoples music. But this song really makes me think. I know when Vic wrote it, it was supposed to be about 2 kids helping each other out through something. Towards the end of the song it goes,

And I said, "Hey, it's alright" , we'll make it. I love you and I'll never leave your side.

Those lyrics make me realize how much Harper really means to me. We both need each other.

Mike comes walking into my room so I pause the song and take my headphones off. I look at the time. Is it really already 2 am?

"What's up?" I ask him as he sits down on the edge of my bed.

"Do you think Harper is going to be okay?" He asks me. I sigh and shake my head.

"I don't know honestly. I have a feeling she isn't just lost." I reply. He looks down. I think we are all quite stressed without Harper here.

"We should go look for her." Mike says. Should we?

"I want to, but where would we even start?" I ask. He is quiet for a moment.

"Wherever. But we need to get the police involved. We can't just find her on our own." He says.

"Okay, lets go then." I get up and grab my car keys off of the dresser. I get my phone and we walk down the stairs and to the front door. Not worth waking people up to tell them we are leaving. When we get in the car, I send a quick text to everyone saying me and Mike are searching for her.
