Well-known for 'Regret The Rejection'

When did you join Wattpad and why?

I joined Wattpad in Dec 2015. That would be 7 months ago. However I started writing books in the beginning of January. Well, the main reason I joined Wattpad was to read. I had been reading books online for quite a while, when I came across Wattpad. To be honest, writing was never a part of the plan. It just happened...

How did it feel like when you posted your first story on Wattpad?

When I posted my first book, I had no expectations from it whatsoever. I remember telling myself, 'you are lucky if this book even goes beyond a hundred reads, Christine.'

I started writing the book for myself. I wasn't writing it for reads, votes or comments. So, I can't honestly say I was very nervous about it. It was an impulsive thought and I acted on it.

Who/What influenced your writing?

My writing is actually influenced from the books I read. The more I read, the more ideas I get to write. I remember I had read about a gazillion werewolf stories, began I began to write one.

Your inspiration?

My inspirations are my favourite Wattpad authors, Hepburnettes  and TahliePurvis. They are amazing and I'm in awe of their books.

Your reaction when your book became successful?

Elation. That would be the right word for my reaction, especially since I had no hopes for it at all. I had roamed around the house the whole day with a goofy grin on my face... I was that happy. :)

Your advice to the younger generation of writers?

My advice for the new writers would be just write whatever you want. Be it cliché, sappy, boring or stupid, just write what you like. Success and fame are fickle; and at the end of the day, if you aren't happy with your work, it's an utter waste. Readers will come and go, you'll gain followers and lose them, but what matters is your happiness; never let that slide.
