What would I do without your smart mouth?
Drawing me in, and you kicking me out
You've got my head spinning, no kidding, I can't pin you down
What's going on in that beautiful mind?
I'm on your magical mystery ride

Things changed on a Tuesday.

It happened in the halls, on a boring Tuesday. They stood at Stiles' locker, Lydia wearing a stolen sweatshirt and Stiles smelling like her more than himself. Banter was going on between the two, but that was the norm. They weren't even sure what they were going on about, but that didn't stop them from obsessing over who was going to win their little argument.

It had been a week, and everything was happening without a hitch. Theo was powerless, Scott was powerful, Lydia hadn't screamed in a while, and Stiles was his normal snowman self - even more now that Lydia bought him a snowman shirt. From the two, everything was great and everything was the usual, but to anyone that wasn't Stiles or Lydia, things were different.

They stood closer to each other than they were suppose to, their hands always brushing when they walked. When they were running from danger, Lydia always had her hand clasped around Stiles', making sure to drag him away from impending death. When threatened, Stiles always stepped in front of Lydia slightly, ready to take bullet for the girl at any moment.

When sitting, they were always next to each other. When together, Stiles would run his hands through her hair and Lydia would play with a loose thread on his shirt. He glared down guys that looked at her for a little too long, and she was very affectionate with Stiles when any other girls tried to flirt with him - he was always too innocent to notice they were though.

The pack shared not-so-subtle glances every time they looked like more of a couple rather than friends, which was basically every ten to twenty minutes. The pack didn't say anything when all of this happens, they just watch from afar. Isaac says that they're like the couple in a TV show where everyone wants them to get together, but it takes them the longest possible time to do it.

Stiles closes his locker and their argument falls short, ending with Lydia murmuring about her winning. He agreed 'cause though he didn't really know what they were bantering about, she most likely won anyways. "I'll see you in English?" Stiles asks and Lydia nods just as the bell rings. He nods too and they both turn the other direction, having a silent agreement to meet after school.

He takes about four steps before turning back around. "I forgot something." Stiles says. She slowly stops and turns around too. There seemed to be no reason for her to stay, since it would take him like ten seconds to get what he had forgotten, but if it was ten more seconds with Stiles, she would take it. Stiles walked back over to her with the small, kind-of-bored smile he reserved for school.

Stiles dips down and kisses her. It was short and sweet, it barely gave her any time to react, but she did. They had just kissed and she already felt needy and wanted more. Stiles stays in his spot for a few seconds. "Hmm," He makes a humming noise, "Interesting." With that he leaves a dumbfounded Lydia in the middle of the hall.

She stands there for a good thirty seconds, unable to move. Kira notices that if she doesn't move soon, she's going to be late for class. Like the good friend she is, Kira walks over to Lydia. Kira closes the girls mouth, hooks her arm in hers and skips - yes, skips, 'cause she's just that type of person - to class with Lydia, who was still speechless.

The pack got tired of it on Thursday.

The pack, being the pack, made a plan to get them together. Stiles and Lydia hadn't talked about their kiss in the hall, despite constant hint dropping from their friends. Around lunch time, Malia had rolled her eyes and said that to get them together, the pack was going to have to 'lock them in a cage or something'. Which sparked an idea.

"I don't know, he just said he wants to see you in the History classroom." Allison shrugs a shoulder, walking down the halls with Lydia. She furrows her eyebrows at Allison. The history classroom? Stiles hates history, he thinks it's boring. The only reason he doesn't sleep the whole class is because it's one of the three classes he was with her.

Plus, they hadn't talked alone since the kis- incident. Since the incident.

Lydia fiddles with the books in her arms, wondering what he could want. "Okay, but what do you think he-" Allison cuts her off with yet another shrug. "Don't ask me. Boys are a mystery." Allison says as they pass by Scott and Stiles, giving Scott a look that meant she had done her part of the plan.

"I honestly don't know, Stiles. I don't try to decode the female mind, its too confusing." Scott comments, putting books in his locker nonchalantly. Stiles' Adam's apple bobs while he watches the strawberry blonde walk down the hall with Allison. He's very aware that he had kissed her and then just left her there with little to no words.

The kiss was haunting him, like he had some sort of ghost following him around and annoying him. Hmm... Interesting? What kind of thing is that to say to someone after a kiss? If he was her, he would be a total wreck and would be trying to figure out what the means. Even Stiles didn't know what he meant by it, and he was the one that said it.

"You should go, though. You both have a free period and you don't want to keep her waiting." Scott says, nudging Stiles forward slightly. Stiles nods and scratches the back of his neck. "Yeah... Uh, okay, see you at lunch then?" He asks, feeling deja vu at the words. But in no circumstances was he kissing Scott. Well, that's a lie, 'cause he actually did kiss Scott in a dare once.

Stiles turns and walks down the hall.

There's going to be a third part, simply because I have this weird strike of inspiration.
