Venting

So, I live in the murder capital of America. With more than 20 murders this year alone. Chicago even made it to the top 10 world wide.

I guess I never really processed it
Or thought that anyone I really knew could be killed
Especially since I (technically) don't know any gangbangers

My cousins cousin Little JJ (JJ Jr) was shot at 2:10am yesterday while parking his car after dropping his friend off at his house

He died at 7am

JJ wasn't in any gang
He was really smart and on his basketball team
He was such a good person
And he wasn't into anything that could've gotten him killed
But he was shot

Yes I wasn't that close to him
But I knew him
I talked to him during birthday parties and family events

But what really pissed me the fuck off

Is that the police is saying that he was in gangs

That he brought his death upon himself

That it was his fault

THEY NEED TO GET THERE HEADS OUTTA THERE ASSES SINCE THEY ALREADY TOLD THIS TO THE CHICAGO TRIBUNE

MY AUNT HAD TO CALL THEM AND MAKE THEM TAKE IT DOWN

I honestly don't even know if they did or not

But they need to stop ruining his name
