Our Love Is Endless [Shuta (AAA) x Chiaki (AAA)]

Act #5 : Glances

Shuta tapped his foot impatiently among his own tempo. He was sitting in the rehearsal room alone, with only his breathing and his foot's click clack could be heard.

Damn those guys, he grunted while once again glancing at his phone screen. On it were the now-silent-AAA group chat.

"Came at seven," they had said. But it was seven fifteen and none of those lazyheads were showing up except for Shuta.

"Daamnn!" Shuta yawned while stretching his arms up. He was sleepy; he slept at quite a late hour last night.

Suddenly the door of the rehearsal room swung open.

"Guys, sorry I'm la--"

Chiaki's mouth hung mid-air when her eyes scanned the room. Her eyes landed on Shuta.

"Where is everyone?" she demanded. Shuta raised his shoulder.

"Dunno," he answered while looking away.

Chiaki huffed while heavily walking her foot into the room. "What's with those guys," she muttered under her breath before slumping to the floor, just across Shuta's place.

Silence.

Shuta shifted his glance at Chiaki. Once again he had to look away to hide his blush. She was so cute this morning. With her hair tied into a brown ponytail, her black T-Shirt and white pants, she looked like usual without any make-ups. She still looked cute.

No matter how horrible she tried to look, she still looks cute, the quick thought that made Shuta went even scarlet.

"What?"

The guy almost jumped when Chiaki's voice pulled him back into the reality.

"W-What?"

"You were staring."

"N-Nope."

"Don't lie."

"I didn't."

Chiaki eyed Shuta suspiciously for the last time before returning to her phone screen. Shuta exhaled silently.

I didn't realize I was staring, Shuta bit his lips. He dared to look once again to Chiaki.

His eyes met Chiaki's.

"Now you are staring," Shuta stated, trying to act calm.

"No I'm not."

"You were!"

"No!"

Shuta snorted. "Whatever," he mumbled before once again looking away. His eyes trailed around the room; any place as long as it wasn't Chiaki.

His eyes accidenly passed Chiaki's silhouette.

Their eyes met again. This time, they opened their mouths at the same moment.

"You are staring!"
