Yes. I read his letter again. No, it's not what you think. I just wanted to see if it will still hurt. It has been 11 months since he left this letter on my study table and together with it was his duplicate key of my condo. He also returned all my things... things I always left in his car.
Alam mo yung feeling na parang may nakadagan sa puso mo pag gising? That's how I always felt. Well, not until today. Today I woke up with a light heart. I felt like I've been set free from the heartache. I've moved on.
That's why I tried reading Jeff's letter, to see if I'll be okay this time.
"I'm finally okay... I'm FINALLY OKAY!"
*Phone rings* Angel's picture, my bestfriend shows up on screen.

"Hello, Best! What's up?" I said.
"Best, I got tickets for the finals! UST vs DLSU! Let's watch!"
"OMG! Lucky! Sige, game! I'm at home. Umuwi ako dito sa Alabang but balik na ako condo tomorrow. Kakabili ko lang actually ng new USTe shirt! Perfect timing!"
"Okay, great! Sabi ko na basta game ng Tigers, go ka eh! See you, bye!"

MOA ARENA UST VS DLSU CHAMPIONSHIP GAME 3
I wore my new yellow UST shirt, denim shorts and my almost worn out Kobe 8 Christmas. Everytime I wear these, something nice happens.
My bestfriend made a huge banner for Jeric Teng. What can I say? She's such a fan girl. It says, "LET'S HEAR KING TIGER ROAR FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP!" Dont get me wrong, I'm a Thomasian, and a huge supporter of the Tigers but I'm really not the aggressive type... I just watch and cheer.
"Damn AVO makes me want to cheer AN1MO." Angel said.
Aba, balimbing 'tong bestfriend ko ah. Pagkatapos gumawa ng banner na pagkalaki, si AVO ang gusto bigla.
15 seconds on the clock, DLSU leads by 2 points. Intense game, intense crowd. I've got my hands in prayer just like most of the thomasians here...
"Teng for THREE... and gets it to go!"
Jeric Teng makes his signature move. The crowd goes wild, the buzzer sounds, confetti bursts and UST is crowned as this season's champion!!! Jeric Teng makes his signature move again. It's the first time I saw him do it live and man, he is too cute to watch. That made me smile like an idiot.
"Kung makangiti parang girlfriend ka lang ah?" My bestfriend teased.
I ignored my bestfriend's teasing and together, we cheered with the whole sea of yellow.
"Go USTeee, Go USTeee, Go USTeee, go go go go!" Bukas paos ako nito.

JERIC'S POV
"Thank you to the whole UST community for supporting us and believing in us. The injuries and setbacks were worth it! This is all for you. Uhmm, for my brother Jeron, he did his best and I'm so proud of his performance. You and the rest of DLSU gave us a tough game! You also deserve to be an MVP." I said after being crowned this season's MVP. The feeling is magical.
I went out to celebrate with the Thomasian community and Tigers for a little while. My eyes are giving up on me, I really need to go home and rest. So I did.
When I got home, after I washed up, nawala bigla antok ko. I just checked my twitter and instagram feed. I clicked on one video a fan tagged me in, my three point shot with 15 seconds on the clock caught on video. I clicked like. What good timing! How do you save this? I thought. Kung pwede lang magsave ng videos.
I clicked on another one. This time a fan uploaded a collage. Wow, these two girls are cute. The both look tall too. This cute looking girl is wearing a Kobe 8 Christmas. I actually like it because of the nice play of colors on shoes. I admire girls who also like wearing kicks. Hmmm. They made a nice banner too, parang lyrics ng Roar yung nakalagay. I'm currently hooked on Katy Perry's Roar pa naman. This girl really caught a good angle of my signature move ah. Nice. This collage is cool! Double tap. Liked.

Finally, dinalaw na ako ulit ng antok. I need to sleep. I have to attend a group meeting for my class.

6:00 AM alarm clock. I shut it off and immediately got up. Nakauwi na pala si Jeron. Hindi ko man lang napansin. I got ready as quiet as I could. He needs rest.
While having breakfast, I checked my instagram feed. There were so many tags by thomasians with pictures of me and the team during the awarding and the game itself. It feals surreal. We did it! We are this season's champion! Thank you, Lord!
Scroll down. This Kobe girl replied. Awww, it says she did not make the banner but she wore her luck pair for our game yesterday. Will I reply? I typed. "@portiaaa Akala ko pa naman you two made that! but at least you wore your lucky shoes for the Tigers, thanks!"
Erase erase. Baka isipin nila I'm playing favorites sa mga IG uploads and tags. Okay na 'yun. I wont reply na muna. I need to move faster. Baka malate ako sa group meeting, nakakahiya naman sa mga blockmates ko. They have been very supportive and appreciative this whole UAAP season.
