Chapter 2: He's Everywhere

PORTIA'S POV

7:43 AM *ALARM CLOCK*

Oh, shoot! I'm running late! Forty-three minutes na nagaalarm phone ko and I did not hear a thing! What's wrong with you, Portia?! I got pissed at myself.

I hurriedly got myself ready. I just slipped myself in a black skinny jeans, white v-neck shirt and wore my Nike Stefan Janoski Camo. I grabbed my keys, macbook, bag and ran out. 

*Ding* The elevator sounded. This will be along ride because I live on the 25th floor. So I just took out my make up kit, put some eyebrow make up and lip gloss while the elevator opened and closed passing by different floors. Hindi naman ako masyado ma-make up na babae. While looking at the mirror, I thought: Okay na yan.

*Ding* I got off the elevator and ran towards the Dapitan entrance. 

As I was running, I saw Jeric Teng seated in front of the pavs near commerce building. I slowed down a bit para hindi masira poise. Hehe. Deep inside I hoped mamukhaan niya man lang ako from the instagram collage I posted last night. Asa ka naman, Portia. Hahaha. What's wrong with me? Hindi naman ako ganito. I'm just a simple fan who cheers for the team.

So I passed by him. He was looking down. Darn it! He won't be able to see my face and notice me somewhow. When I was right in front of him, his eyes widened.

Bakit kaya? Okay Portia! Tama na, hurry up and you're late for your thesis meeting! Hurry up! I snapped out of my bubble!

I just need to finish this meeting at makakauwi na din ako sa bahay namin! I can go to Alabang Town Center bago umuwi and buy a cake from Conti's.

JERIC'S POV

Ang tagal ng groupmates ko kung kelan ako naging maaga. Who am i to complain? Okay lang, they have been understanding talaga sa schedule ko.

I'll just wait for them here sa may pav in front of our building. Buti nalang medyo maaga pa, I can just sit here quietly. I thought about everything that happened yesterday - the championship, the MVP, everything seems magical. We really did it.

As I was day dreaming, I snapped out of it when this girl passed by. She was wearing a Stefan Janoski Camo. Cool! I really like girls wearing kicks. This made me remember Portia, the Kobe 8 Christmas girl from last night. Ang cool talaga ng thomasian girls.

As bored as I am, I tweeted: "Yesterday I saw a thomasian girl wearing Kobe 8 Christmas. Today, I saw a thomasian girl wearing Janoski Floral Camo. How cool are thomasian girls? ;)"

*Beep*

From: Mom

"Let's have dinner tonight with your siblings at Alabang. Your tita Angie just came home from Canada."

To: Mom

"Okay, ma. I'll go home agad after my meeting."

From: Mom

"Let's also fix your schedule. Madami kayo guestings ni Jeron"

To: Mom

"Yes ma. Sige po."

I miss spending time with the whole family. Nakaka-excite din ang family dinner later. I also miss hanging out with my bro. This time mawawala na tension and we can go back to being brothers without any rivalry anymore. 

"Jeric, send mo nalang sakin yung part mo until tomorrow evening para ako magcompile." Lara, ou group leader said. Tapos na ang meeting! I drove home and changed to my Penguin polo shirt for our family dinner.
