Wyatt
'You sure you can go back home safely, Logan?' Mother asked, a worried look plastered onto her face, 'it's already past 10 and it's so dark outside... the streets aren't exactly safe these days with all those attacks and shit, Wyatt can go with you back home you know, just to be safe' she rambled.
'MOM! His house is just like next to ours, I'm pretty sure he can go by himself.' I said.
'Well... you never know...' she said sheepishly, having obviously forgotten that Logan lived near by.
'Yeah, he can definitely get stabbed, robbed, threatened, shot and all that in 10 SECONDS!' I said sarcastically.
'Don't give me sarcasm young man.'
'Oh, she actually knows what is being sarcastic.' I muttered.
'I may be a cool person and all, but I'm still you're mother. So don't give me that tone!'
I only scoffed and turned to Wyatt. 'You don't need anyone to accompany you...do you.'
'No, it's alright. Well, I'll see you tmr then?'
'Yep, tomorrow at eight then. You know you have to come over again to actually get some work done right?'
'Yeah...let's say today was just a day for both of us to know each other better and so we can have better teamwork in the future.'
I grinned, 'yeah your mother is definitely gonna believe you.'
'I don't think she minds that much to be honest, she wants me to be more social and meet new friends. Well, I better get going, thanks again Mrs. Jones for the wonderful dinner and for having me here.'
'No worries dear, send my regards to your mother. See you tomorrow!' Mother said.
Logan waved and stepped out the front door.
Mother turned around and looked at me accusingly 'That boy really isn't your boyfriend right? Be honest Wyatt.'
'No mother... we're just friends.'
'Well you guys shouldn't be just friends. You two would be like the perfect couple, I mean, he is rather cute, and seems like such a nice boy...'
'Okok mother, whatever. Nite ma.' And walked back up the stairs to my room.
Sitting on the edge of the bed, I looked through the window and watched as Logan slowly walked up the steps to his house. I watched as he opened the door and disappear from sight for a while.
Then he entered his bedroom, sat down behind his desk, and stared at something on his desk. He bit his lip and furrowed brows in a look of total concentration.
Flopping down on the bed, my mind started to drift. I wonder what it would be like to actually have a boyfriend or a girlfriend... it would be pretty awesome... we could feed each other ice cream and all that cliche stuff. But why is it that all books only mention ice cream, I mean, why not a sausage, or a slice of orange. Oranges are orange... Oh my gawd I'm so smart... yawn.... I wonder if I should write a paper on this, 'orange oranges' I would make a fortune and can buy a yacht... then I can go cruising with my boyfriend / girlfriend. And we can look at the stairs, and we'll be munching on a watermellooonnnn.......zzzzzzzzz....
Cami
How dare he! That fucking stupid asshole! How could he just dump all of our years of friendship out the window like a piece of shit! I mean,
The least he could do is give me some kind of closure. Sigh.... I don't give a fuck anymore ... guess it's time for plan B...
