"To be kicked, when you're down, to feel like you've been pushed around. To be on the edge of breaking down and no one's there to save you." -Welcome To My Life by Simple Plan
Her trembling frame sat in the corner of the bathroom. No sounds were to be heard other than the shaky breaths being taken. She was sick of it. Sick of her life. Of the taunting, the jeering, the punches and kicks. Of everything.
There was no purpose in living; why live just to be beaten down and broken all the time? No one was going to save her, no one cared. Father might miss his punching bag, and mother might miss her stress reliever, but they wouldn't miss her.
Friends? She had none. All the ones she ever had, had left her in the dust. Pathetic, they would call her. No one loves you anyways. Waste of space! Why don't you just drop off the world. You wouldn't be missed.
"Fine," she thought, "You'll get your wish. I won't exist anymore. You'll be free to live your lives. Bye."
Taking one last shaky breath, she held up the razor blade that she was clutching with pale hands. And she sliced the skin on each arm from wrist to elbow, and drew a picture with her new paintbrush.
Her skeletal body was found curled up, in a puddle of blood. The word freak carved into her skin. They got their wish. Were they happy now? Had she finally pleased them?
