**** song: Amanda Abizaid - Dreams In Ashes ****
"Namjoon, I thought you were a nice guy, what is this?"
Boyeong desperately hoped she wouldn't cry; it did her no good.
"I was tired of being the nice guy! Just once, I want someone to see more to me! You wanted me, I couldn't resist. I liked that you liked me."
The tears fell, and Boyeong, for once, wasn't happy that she knew exactly what his words meant.
She used to spend hours deciphering all the possible meanings behind his words; now it was crystal clear. All of it.
She preferred the hazy, ignorant bliss.
"But you never liked me, did you?"
Namjoon looked away uncomfortably.
"Then what was this tutoring bull? You could've stopped, I only kept doing it to spend more time with you!"
"You have to understand better than anyone, the pressure to be perfect, be first. I do what I have to."
But Boyeong did not understand. She did not understand how he could have done this. And how she could have fell for it.
Maybe her parents were right. Maybe she really did have no business making friends.
"I needed good word from your parents to get into the top University. I needed good words from influential people. Please, I'm so sorry-"
But Boyeong had already run away.
He was a lie; her suspicions, she was right.
But this time, it didn't feel nice to be right.
She should've listened.
Maybe then it wouldn't hurt like this.
