~ 2 year time skip. Both Boyeong and Namjoon are in university now ~

Boyeong wandered the familiar library. It was a holiday, so she had returned home to visit her parents.

It was tense; they didn't like her going to school for the arts, rather than business, as they had. However, a few academic achievement awards had shut them up for the time being.

She had thought long and hard about this; she wasn't sure she wanted to come back to this dreaded place.

It held so many memories, both good and bad.

But she wanted closure; she had gotten over Namjoon long ago, of course, but there was still a whisper of a feeling lingering, and she didn't want to keep it with her anymore.

Instead of closure, she ended up staring at the very boy who'd broken her heart.

He was a man now.

There was a girl sitting across from him, and his hand lay on hers, his face wide in a blissful smile as he stared at her.

Boyeong wondered who she was.

Was he tricking her like he did to Boyeong?

But he was in university now, he didn't need recommendations for acceptance.

Maybe for his future job, though....

The girl turned, and it was almost like they linked eyes for a moment.

Boyeong quickly moved to the library café, mulling it over.

She didn't want to get involved where she wasn't welcome, but if the girl was being played, Boyeong wanted to help.

She wished that someone had warned her before she'd gotten hurt.

"Excuse me, sorry, do you know my brother? I noticed you staring earlier, and you seem about his age."

The girl had appeared next to her.

So Namjoon was her brother.

That was a relief.

She hadn't known that he had a sister.

"We went to school together." Boyeong didn't want to discuss it.

She'd come to lay this to rest, not get involved in a bigger mess, tangled in Namjoon's charm again.

"Oh. Were you friends?"

Boyeong didn't know how to respond.

"I thought we were, but he didn't see things the same way I did."

She obviously didn't understand what Boyeong meant, but she didn't question further.

"It was a long time ago, I'm sorry for staring."

And that was the end of it; well, it should have been.

"Ahn Boyeong? Is that you?"

She turned to find herself staring into the very same face she used to be convinced she was in love with.

He had matured, but the dimples were as prominent as ever.

"Hello Namjoon."

End.
