Health Class

Ruby's PoV:

Great, I have health next. I don't exactly hate it, but I don't like it either.
I walk to class with my two best friends, Amethyst and Jasper. We're basically on top of the food chain. Well, not exactly, but this is how it's like:

The Diamonds- (They basically own the school, because they're principal is there mother.)
Yellow, Blue, Pink. There mom is White Diamond. There is also Bloodstone. He's only popular because he's dating Blue Diamond.
Jocks/Cheerleaders- (We're close friends with the Diamonds. You can't be a jock if you're not on a sports team.)
Jocks: Me, Jasper, Amethyst, Obsidian, Onyx, Amazon. Cheerleaders: Emerald, Lapis, Topaz, Jade.
Nerds-(Bottom of the food chain, gets bullied.Some are popular though, if they're dating a jock.)
Popular nerds: Peridot,and Pearl. Nerds: Aquamarine, Coral, Citrine, Copper.

And that's just basically, what I can think of, on the top of my head. Oh yeah, and there's the burn outs. The kids who are super wired, freaks. Or, if you're new student.

"Ruby, Ruby, RUBY!", Amethyst is shaking me. I must have been zoning out.

I shake my head, "Huh, w-what?"

"Are you coming to the party?", Jasper asks.

I think for a second. What are they talking about? "What party?", I ask.

Amethyst nudges my hair, "The Diamonds are throwing a party, at there beach house, again. And all the jocks were invited."

I went to the last party they threw, and lemme just say this now: It was not pretty. There was drunk kids everywhere, dancing, making out, smoking hookah, I think somebody brought drugs, and somebody fell off the roof. It was crazy, so there is NO way I'm going back to a party. "Uh, I don't think I'll go. I'd probably practice shooting hoops, or just watch some movies."

"What is wrong with you? You're going to that party.", Amethyst says.

I hate it when they get all demanding. "No, I'm not going. That's it, this conversation is over.", I growl.

They both frown. "Dude, your not fun anymore. You used to love these."

I shrug, "I guess, I just lost my spark." Not really, I have my reasons. Mostly because I saw a streaker, and that was not a pleasant experience.

They both look at each other and smirk evilly. I already know there going to make me go, later on.

We finally reach health class. We go inside and kids are going nuts, because our teacher isn't there yet. When we walk in, all the kids surround us. I can't even make out what there saying, because there all yelling. I just go sit in the corner, where me, Amethyst, and Jasper, usually sit.

When I get there, Theres a girl reading a book. She must be new, because I've never seen her here before, and I know everyone. Also, because all the kids know, not to sit at our seats. I'm about to tell her to move but I notice she has her blonde hair covering her face. It looks kind of cute. I watch her for few seconds, and she still hasn't noticed me yet.

She then looks up at me. "Oh my stars...", She whispers. She looks straight back at her book again. Is she scared of me? I don't want to make her uncomfortable.

I take a seat next to her. "Hey.", I said trying to sound cool. "I'm Ruby. Are you new here?" I can see through her hair, that she's blushing madly.

She looks back up at me, and hesitates to say something. "Um... w-what do you want?". She's talking really low, I can barely hear her.

I'm about to tell her, that she's in my seat, but Amethyst and Jasper come. Great.

"Hey, move it, shorty.", Jasper growls.
