14: Ice Cream

Clara's P.O.V

Today was a really hot day so I wanted to get some ice cream. I was really craving some good ice cream. I loved ice cream so much. It was the best thing ever. I laid on the couch begging Chris to take us out for ice cream. Even Dodger liked the idea of getting some ice cream. You could tell when he jumped around at the mention of the word.

I begged Chris until he finally gave in seeing mine and Dodger's faces. He let out a sigh before we all got into the car and headed to the ice cream place. Dodger was so excited that he had peed on the leather seat in the car. We stopped so Chris could clean it up before we went to the ice cream store.

We arrived at the ice cream store and I was the first one into the store. I looked around for the flavors and smiled seeing the choices. I went over looking at them with the biggest smile on my face. My face lit up like a kid's face on Christmas when I saw my favorite flavor.

Chris got Dodger a vanilla cone while I got strawberry. But it was soft served and in a cone. I loved soft served ice cream. Chris got regular chocolate ice cream. We sat outside eating our ice cream. A fan came up to us and asked for a picture with Chris. I took the picture for them of course.

"Thank you so much! Now can I have a picture with you" the girl said looking at me. I smiled and nodded before giving the phone to Chris and I stood beside the girl. I put my arm around her and she put her arm around me. I smiled as Chris took the picture on the girl's phone. She said thank you again and then left with her friends.

Me and Chris finished our ice cream before getting back into the car. We headed back to the house and just relaxed a little. I got up to go get a bottle of water and I felt Chris's arms wrap around me. I chuckled and turned to face him. I smiled and kissed his lips gently. He deepened the kiss and pulled me closer to him.

I chuckled and pulled away for a little to get some air. Chris smiled and he kissed my head gently. I couldn't help but smile and blush formed on my cheeks. Me and Chris made dinner and sat down in the living room to eat. After dinner, I headed to the bathroom and took a long nice shower.

After I got a shower, I got ready for bed and headed back to mine and Chris's room. Chris had went to go get his shower so he could get ready for bed. I laid in the soft bed with Dodged snuggled up by my side. I had my Sherlock Holmes book opened. I enjoyed the stories. Old books were great.

Chris came into the room after getting his shower and he laid down beside me. I closed my book and set it on the nightstand before rolling over. Dodger had moved down to mine and Chris's feet by now. I placed my hand gently on Chris's chest and propped myself up, kissing his lips gently.

I felt him smile against my lips which made me smile back. He was my everything. My world. I loved him so much. I remembered so many good times we had together back when we were younger. I remembered breaking his arm when we first met. Of course I didn't mean to do that. I was a little kid and so was he.

I guess you could say it was love at first sight...
