Tarik suddenly faltered and his stern, focused gaze washed away, replaced by a look of worry and guilt. When he suddenly ordered me to leave. I was shocked to say the least, we had just been through pirates and he had assured me that we were doing this together as a team. He repeated his demand and by the tone in his voice I thought it better if I were to leave although I was going to be mad when we returned to the ship.

I thought that I would just go back to the ship to wait for him but I was so angry that I just tore off in a random direction and ran. It didn't take long since it wasn't a very large planet to get somewhere. I was just surprised that it happened to be a small town or village type thing.

I slowed my pace suddenly alot calmer than I was before. I noted that my beautiful dress matched the colour and atmosphere of the town. It felt like nature was a big factor but as I got closer to what seemed to be some sort of flower shop I could see that every single flower was wilted and on the brink of death.

"Hello" I said softly to the glum looking girl at the counter.

"Whhhelcm" she replied in a bored mumble. I couldn't help feel bad for her. She had no business and no fun since the light was taken from her planet.

Just as I was about to leave a small child ran out from behind the counter and the strange thing was was that she was still full of light she was brighter than all the other citizens and happier than the whole town combined. She raced to me and pulled at my dress to get my attention.

"You're a princess" she whispered to herself in awe. I chuckled slightly at her astonished expression.

"You're gonna be the one to bring happy to mommy" I couldn't help but smile because of how optimistic she was.

"You can come along if you want" I offered and by the bright eyed, beaming face I figured that that was a yes.

We walked around her lackluster village for awhile when she started to speak about a fable her mother used to tell her. About how a princess was going to meet a prince and surf the galaxy together.

"Are you the princess from the stories?" She asked and since I didn't know but it sounded right I told her I was. To this she was amazed to even meet me let alone go on a walk with me.

"What's your name?" I asked her suddenly curious.

"My mommy named me Lucia but all my friends just call me Lucy so you can call me Lucy if you want" came her reply.

"I think that is a wonderful name, both of them". I smiled down at the small girl.

We came across a meadow however dull we spent alot of time there. We layed in the grass but I noticed that wherever she stepped the grass stood up taller and grew a richer green. So as an experiment I walked her to the river and splashed her in which she splashed me back. This time as soon as her hands touched the water it revived into the clearest blue and began running faster. She awoke a fawn by petting it and when it awoke it began to lick her nose.

I was in awe that this little girl no more than five years old could bring back the planets light one step at a time, literally. We began to tire and layed in the grass once again, she looked at the sky and stars whilst I began to make her a flower crown. It looked sad as I put it together but when I put it onto her head the flowers blossomed into an unimaginable aray of colours. She giggled knowing that my stunned face was because of her little power that she was obviously very proud of.

Very softly the earth shook and then the light was restored. I figured that things with Tarik went well. I took Lucy by the hand and together we walked back to her town where her mother was there to greet her and myself with a bouquet of flowers.

I said my goodbyes to the people of the town and found myself walking back to the ship where Tarik was inevitably waiting for me. I began thinking that I was slightly glad Tarik sent me away, if he hadn't I would've never have met Lucy and became aware of the wonderful powers people could have. I knew that I would and could never forget about Lucy and as I set foot in the ship and it began to set off I found myself wishing I had brought her with me, no matter how crazy that sounded.
