Eren's POV

"So where are we going?"

"The president just call us, probably to congratulate you." He says making me look at the back of his head confused.

Never in my life thought that Levi would refer to his dad like that, I was expecting like dad or father but never president.

"We're here." I snap of my thoughts, and focus on the brown double doors. When Levi open the double doors, the first thing my eyes focus were on Mr. Ackerman wide smile, and eyes full of pride.

"Congratulations!" Mr. Ackerman said standing up from his seat.

"I was expecting for Levi to neglect but it seems he mature a little." I look at my left, and notice Erwin chuckling, while Levi throw daggers at him.

'Just when did he got here?'

"Thanks, but I didn't need your sarcastic remarks." Levi said making the other two males chuckle.

"Anyways, you guys did a splendid job! I hope you can keep it up!"

"Of course Mr. Ackerman!" We both now before leaving his office.

Once we step outside the office, Levi didn't even bother to look at me and keep his distance away from me. I on the other hand only watch him until he disappear from my sight.

"Don't worry, he'll warm up to you. Just be more patience with him." I turn around and saw Erwin smiling, before excusing himself and leaving as well.

"Ah, what a rough night."

It was morning, and I was already making sure the patients were okay. As I made my way to Armin rooms, I saw Mikasa coming out of his room.

'Great...'

"Eren..." she whisper in a soft voice, as if she was about to say something that I don't want to heard.

"How's Armin, Mikasa." I said in a monotone voice making her look down as if she was about to cry but she didn't.

"Ah, he hasn't wake up. But please come in, and check on him." I nod in respond, and open the door. I signal Mikasa go in first.

I decide to keep my distance from her, but it seems the more further I go, the more closer she become. I ignore her and keep filling the report, until I feel two arms wrap around my waist.

"Eren please just listen to me..."

I look up the cealing, and let a frustrated sigh come out. If this woman didn't understand by action, then words we're only left.

"Look, between you and I..."

Before I could finish my sentence, I hear the door been open, revealing Levi. I look at him in shock before composing myself.

"Am I interrupting something?"

I clean my throat as a warning for Mikasa to step away from me, but in the contrary she cling to me more.

"Mikasa please let go...." I whisper soft enough for her to hear, slowly she let go of me, and left the room leaving me and Levi in a tension atmosphere.

"Doctor Lev-"

"I don't care if you guys are in a relationship, just don't flirt in the hospital when you're in the middle of your work." He said with just a harsh tone, I feel like crawling my way out of the room. I look into his eyes, and look for any emotion hidden but there was nothing.

But what emotion was I looking for...?

"I understand..."

"Good, now get back to work." With that he made his way out of the room. Leaving me alone with Armin.

"What am asshole." I heard mikasa said before looking at me.

"Oh right so we're we left of?"

"That you were going to leave me alone." I said exiting the room.

Sighing in relief, I quickly walk away from Armin's room before mikasa cause another scene.

Yes I know... some of ya'll are angry at me, and you have all the right to do so, I took 2 years?? to update this story, and I'm really sorry. And you may also notice that this chapter is very short, but I can guarantee you that this will be the only short chapter in this story.
