Chapter 6

Sapphire
She betrayed us. How could she. Tears fall down my face and meet Masons gaze. It was hard. I stopped crying and nod to him. The girl pushed him through a door and left me with Cole. "Come sweetheart. Time to make you look extra special." He grabs me by the upper arms and takes me down to a chamber with servants. "Dress her. I'll come and collect her in 2 hours." With that he left me with the servants. One lady with short brown hair walked over to me. "Come. It won't be that bad." I didn't look at her or any of the servants. They all started to clean me. Hard.

2 hours later I was standing in a short, short black tight dress with a low backing. My hair was down and the servants put red lipstick on me. I look like a whore. The servants did the finishing touches as soon as Cole walks in. When he sees me he grins. "Oh how lovely." I look away from him. He walks over to me and puts an arm around my waist escorting me to the door. He kissed my head while walking down the halls. I wanted to shake him off but couldn't. We got to the throne room and in it was full of people in gowns and suits. I was the only one in this type of dress. Cole lead me to a table where Ryan and Lunar were. Traitorous bitch. I glared at her when I saw her. She didn't react but nudged Ryan. He saw me and grinned. "How lovely." I looked away and Cole pulled me on his lap. Something pulled me down and made me lay on his chest. What the hell I don't want to do this. Coles hand landed high on my thigh and stroked his thumb on the inside of my thigh. I shivered. I heard him laugh. "What is it that all humans cower at our touch brother?" He said to Ryan, amusement flickering in his tone. "I don't know. But I like it don't you think." He laughed. Cole leaned down and whispered in my ear. "Be a good mortal and get me a drink." I stand and walk away from him. Nothing is going to make me do anything. I walked over to the table of wine and grabbed one. A guy moving past me grinned and slapped my butt. I stiffened. He grinned again and left. The tears were threatening to fall. I held them back and walked over to Cole. Looking around I noticed Mason with that girl. He noticed my gaze and gave me a small smile. I shook my head to not to smile and nod over to the others. He must if understood because he nodded back to me. I gave him a tiny smile and left him standing there. I feel for Mason and he feels for me. I just hope we survive.

The night felt forever. I was the toy that was meant for show and tell. Mason was gone. I felt completely alone. Ryan stood up and clanged his wine glass for everyone's attention. "Thank you all for coming to my birthday." Cole shoved me to Ryan and made me stay there. Ryan put a hand on my waist and I looked down at me feet. "Yesterday I got an amazing gift from my brother. A mere mortal is standing in our ball room." Everyone's attention left Ryan to stand on me. Someone walked up closer. "Who is this mortal my king?" I knew he was grinning now. Ryan's grip on my waist tightened. "This is Sapphire. She was my neighbor in the human realm." Everyone gasps. A tear slides down my cheek. The crowd started to murmur. "Why is this petty human here?" I heard some people snicker including Ryan. "She has caused me a lot of trouble. Trying to ruin my plans." He shoves me forward and I land on my hands and knees. He kicks me and I fly into a table. Groaning I look up and see the crowed separating for Ryan. He lifts me up and drags me. "Time for our alone time." He said out loud. He dragged me out leaving those guests. What has Ryan got planned now.

Lunar
I watched as Sapphire gets dragged away by Ryan. Why am I not helping her!? I wanted to so bad but I just couldn't. Cole come up behind me and wrapped his hands around my waist. He leans down and kisses my neck and unlike every other time one of these cruel brothers touched me, I didnt push away or fight him. I giggled! What the hell are they putting in my food! He releases me and takes my hand and starts leading us somewhere. We get to his room and the minute he steps in the room with me, he closes the door and before I even have a chance to look at the rooms decor, Cole grabs me by the waist, pulls me close and kisses me hard and I kissed him back. I must be losing my mind. He walks over the bed and I push him down and straddle him and I continue kiss him and Cole"s hand go from the waist to my thighs. This is just too weird.
