Chapter 5

Sapphire
I wake to find myself back inside my cell. I sit up. Where is Mason. And oh my gosh last night. I hate this. I touch my check and hiss. I have a bruise from Cole slapping me. Groaning I stand up. I touch the bars and snap my hand back. What the hell. I heard someone laugh. "I wouldn't touch that. It stops mortals from trying to get us." I stepped back and squinted in the dark. The figure steps closer and notice who it is. Ryan. A tear runs down my cheek and I see him smiling. "Don't cry love. You should be happy I'm taking you out." What? Taking me out? I backed away when the cell door opened and a guard walked in. "Reece be careful she's breakable." The guard nodded to Ryan and grinned down at me. Reece checked my shackles and dragged me out of the cell. Ryan touched my cheek and slid his hand down to my waist. I shivered. He saw and grinned. "I just love how you surrender." He walked to the door and lead me out.

As soon as we were out I blinked at the sunlight. God that's bright. When we walked down the halls I knew every eye on me. A mere mortal in their mists. Ryan took me to the throne room and when I got in there I saw Lunar and Mason. Mason was with some girl and Lunar, oh my Lunar she's on a throne. I froze mid stop when there were dozens of people in here. What's going to happen to me. Reece pushed me and I fell to the floor. Just end me now.

Lunar
This was all to wierd. I wanted to help my brother but it felt as though I couldn't move. I wanted to help Sapphire but I once again felt as though I couldnt move. Ryan walks up to me and smiles. He whispers in my ear. "Be a good girl and behave okay. You'll pretend as though you love me and don't care for them okay. " he says and I feel something take over me. I couldnt do anything but agree. He kisses me and I dont know why but I kissed him back. I knew in my heart that I didnt want to but I could tell that even by how I was acting everyone believed I didnt care for them. Ryan stops kissing me and takes my hand. I stand and follow him. "What do you believe is a fair punishment for your brother my dear. I mean he did try to attack my sister." Ryan tells me and I see Mason give me a look. He felt betrayed. Everything in my head was screaming at me to save him but the words I said felt as though I wasnt even in control of my own mouth. "Torture him for a week. Make him pay." I say and my brothers fear turns to rage. "You're not my sister. I'll kill you." he yells as they drag him away. What the hell am I doing. "Now my darling fiancé, what should we do about the human. I for one would like some time with her alone. Would you be alright if Cole and Sapphire join us tonight?" Ryan asks and I had to say yes. I nod my head. "Okay great. Cole if you'd be so kind as to take her to servants and have them help her get ready. She will bring us our drinks for tonight and then we can have a girl each. We can decide which girl later." Ryan says taking my hand. "That will be all." Ryan says and we leave the throne room, the look of fear and betrayal crossing over Sapphires face and I knew that i was smiling. I didnt want to though. I wansnt happy about this. Whats happening to me?
