Joe, Mike, Chester and Dave

I'm sat at a table, picking at a sandwich in front of me. Rob normally meets me here, but no such luck today.

I'm about to leave when I see him, two other guys in tow. He stands in front of me, smiling widely.

'This is Brad. Brad, this is Joe and Mike.'

I glance to them, not in the mood to give anyone I don't know the time of day. A smirk crosses my face, quickly changing my mind.

'Hi boys.' I drawl out slowly.

I hear Rob clear his throat, and look back to him. He's giving me the 'don't you dare' look. I pout slightly to him, which makes him look even more not pleased.

I don't know what he expected, bringing two cute boys to met me. Two cute Asian boys at that.

'Yum.' I say quietly, not even trying to keep it in. Rob looks like he's about to pummel me, and I chuckle slightly. He hates when I go all gay on him.

His words, not mine.

I study them both for a little longer. Joe's quite fit. And doesn't look to be the happy type. Or maybe he caught my yum comment and didn't find it amusing. Him and Rob must get along well.

Mike on the other hand has a slight smile on his face. Both in trendy dress, clean cut guys. Much like Rob.

'Have a seat.' I offer, and quickly find my breath caught in my throat. Mike mumbled a thanks, and then smiled the most amazing smile. It was blinding to say the least. I find myself smiling back just as idiotically.

Rob and Joe sit across from me, and Mike chooses the seat next to me. I raise an eyebrow to Rob, and he now has the murdering face.

So, it's official. Rob thinks highly of these guys, and I'm going to have to behave myself.

I take a deep breath which is cut short by Joe speaking.

'So you're gay?' His tone is less than friendly, and I glare at Rob.

'Yeah, that's me. Rob's gay friend.'

I look Rob directly in the eyes while I speak, saying each word slower than necessary. I stop from continuing, not wanting to come off as too touchy. And saying 'please, just call me sissy' might make it seem that way. Rob's face quickly changes to apologetic.

There's silence for a second, before Mike speaks. I look over to him, and catch the end of a look he was giving Joe. It was much like the look I was just giving Rob.

'Rob's told us a lot about you. You're his roommate. The amazing cook, right?' He pauses for my response, not getting one. 'He said he be a stick if it wasn't for you. And Joe and myself often are jealous when he tells us what you made him for dinner...'

It's obvious he doesn't give a shit about my cooking skills, and is just trying to end this uncomfortable situation.

'Well. Thank you for all the praise, Rob.' I sigh, and decide to give Mike a bone.

'So you all have class together or something?' I say, hoping it came out chipper.

Doesn't matter if it did, it gets the simple chatter going. Now all I have to do is sit back, smile, and nod.

I look to Rob, and he suddenly gets a stern look on his face.

'Brad. Don't.'

I was completely at lost at what he was talking about, so I followed his eyes as they looked past me. I saw them, plastering a sickeningly sweet smile on my face.

This group of guys, who according to Rob always make threats about me, are walking past. They don't scare me much, I think they just talk shit.

Something you get used to quickly.

No to mention one of them is a cool guy. Had class with him, and he never had a bad thing to say to me. Chester. Yeah, Chester's a good guy. Rob's just the protective type.

I blow a kiss to their backs and hear Rob sigh.

'I said don't.'

I look back to the table, all three pairs in eyes on me.

'They're so in love with me. Poor things.' I say, smiling. Rob grabs his things and stands. 'I was joking, Rob. Shit, you need to calm down.'

He slams he stuff down, leaning towards me.

'They seriously have it out for you, Brad. So you need to quit with the childish shit.'

'I'm sorry, okay. They didn't even see me. Sit down.'

He does, and I spend the rest of the time keeping my mouth shut. I'm sure Rob's friends aren't fond of me now, anyway. I'm never been good at first impressions, and this has to be one of the worst yet. With the yum, snappy comment and acting like a child.

And I'd much rather stare at Joe's neck. Tight, tan skin. Begging to be bit, licked. I catch myself sucking my bottom lip hard, and decide it's time for my departure.

I stand, say my good-byes, and barely receive a nod from them.

I don't have a class for the rest of the day, and my goal is to make it off campus as soon as possible.

I fail, as a young guy runs up to me. I turn from him, swallow hard and put on my fake smile as I turn back to him. His grinning. And my smile already starts to fade.

'Brad, hi. I'm Rob's friend, remember?'

'Yes, of course. You're...' Someone I don't want to speak to. 'Darren?'

'Close, Dave.' He's still grinning.

'Dave, right. My mistake. I was actually headed home-' I hold back a growl as he interrupts me.

'Rob said you took AP last year, and-'

'I took it years ago.'

'Well, he said you wouldn't mind helping me with some of-'

'I really can't right now-'

'I have class right now, I was thinking tonight.'

'Tonight?' Oh god, oh god... Excuses... Think of an excuse, dammit!

'Yeah. It's just, Rob said you aced it, and are a natural when it comes to the human body.'

I know I'm grimacing now. No excuses come to mind, and damn me, flattery tends to work like a charm.

'You know where Rob lives?'

'No.' He says, and looks to the ground. He just had a fucking conversation with me, why play the shy shit now?

'Look,' I turn, pointing to Rob, 'ask him for directions. Be there a 7, and we'll-'

'Study.'

I take a deep breath, and smile fake again.

'Right, study.'

I'm sure he said thanks or something, but I was already walking away.
