Chapter 21- Uh Oh

I promised I would write last night didn't I?! Well here it is!! Only two more chapters after this guys :( I'm so sorry. I already know how I'm gonna end it and it's going to be extremely sad and depressing but it has to happen. Love you guys💕 Thank you for sticking with me for so long. I might write a new book but kinda along the lines of what has been going on with my love life, just some would be fiction and changed to hide identities and stuff. Let me know if I should do that! Justin's POV

I never meant to yell at Lexi the way I did but I couldn't tell her that Alex is hunting for the both of us. She would do something stupid, like running away from me or calling him or something unimaginable.

I look over and she's sound asleep. I smile at her cuteness while she's sleeping. I stroke her cheek lightly and look back at the road.

Once I get onto the exit I've been looking for all night, I notice the gas level is low.

"Of course. Something else to put us back in time" I mumble to myself.

I stop at the nearest gas station and it looks like nobody is there but the clerk that's inside. Once I get out, I feel a hole burning through my skull from the clerk staring at me. I shake it off knowing he's just jealous of my good looks.

Once I'm done pumping gas, I swipe my card and wait for the receipt. "God it's freezing out here" I whisper to myself. I look inside and the clerk is still staring at me. What is this dudes problem?

"Get in the car" I hear at the same time I feel a gun press again the back of my head. Shit, Alex found us.

"Get in the car, now!" he repeats.

I do what I'm told and get into the car to see Alex driving and two other people in the back seat with me, yet Lexi is still sleeping. I look at her with sorrow.

"Don't worry about her. She won't wake up. We gave her a shot of medicine that'll make her sleep until we get to where we need to be" Alex says, laughing. God, I wanna punch him in the fucking mouth.

"What do you want, Alex?" I gritted my teeth knowing exactly what he wanted.

He smirked and gave his friend a weird hand gesture. Before I could figure out what it was, there was a pinch in my neck and everything went black.

I woke up in a cold basement, of course it was Alex's. I was tied to a chair and I couldn't untie the rope. My wrists and ankles were burning with pain from the rope rubbing again them. I noticed Lexi was directly across the room from me in the same situation sleeping. Her eyes were covered in black from her makeup being smudged and her wrists and ankles were red.

"Lex" I whimper to myself. I need to get out of these ropes and help her. I started to try and untie the nots but I heard footsteps coming.

"I see up you woke up" Alex said with a smile with two guys standing next to him. I gave him the nastiest look ever and he noticed. His hand slapped me across the face.

"You're not getting out of here without pain and guilt and heartbreak" he says. "I mean who knows if you'll even get out of here alive" he smirks, continuing.

"Why are you doing this?" I asked, blood dripping out of my nose.

Alex crouched down far enough to the ground to look me in the face and says "I want you to feel the pain you gave me the day you took Lexi from me. I want you to feel the guilt you gave me by making sure I couldn't do anything to save her from the monster you are. I want you to feel the heartbreak of never seeing her again".

He walks towards Lexi and she wakes up. "Where am I?" she asks all drugged up. She notices the ropes around her and starts to panic when she sees me. "Alex, let us go" she says sternly. "See, that's the problem love, I can't" He says smiling at her. "You may not have any purpose for me anymore and I don't care what happens to you anymore, but you're here for a reason." He continues. He walks away and goes back upstairs. "I'll see you two soon." he says and winks. "This will be the most fun I've had in years".
