Chapter 3

Scha had just reached home from shopping with Zen. They had spent the whole day shopping, and then they both decided to go the club with their friends tonight. She had been checking her IPhone and computer for e-mails but none. Disappointed, she hadn’t received any new e-mails especially from him; she decided to e-mail him instead and began typing, “Hi, my darling friend. Hope you had a pleasant and cheerful day today”. With that, she took her towel and went off to the bathroom to take a shower.

She checked her computer again after coming out of the bathroom. She smiled when she saw a new e-mail and immediately clicked on the message, “Hi my darling Scha, my day was a pleasant one. How was your day? Beautiful one I hope,” it read.

Smiling dreamily and still wrapped in a towel, she sat on her chair and began to respond, “I had a wonderful day today. Spending time shopping with my best friend and he treated me to ice-cream.”

She was just putting on her shirt, when her computer signalled an incoming message.

Immediately adjusting her shirt she read her e-mail again, “He?”  just a single word typed.

Jealous much? She thought to herself. Chuckling she type, “Yes, my best friend is a guy and his name is Zen”, still sitting down on her chair facing the computer, she slipped on her jeans.

Her jeans were half way through when the signal came off again and she immediately read it. “Hmm, he must be very lucky to have you as a friend”. It says.

She smiled and responded, “No, I’m the lucky one. I have him and now you as friends”. She did this while pulling up her jeans and zipping them.

Walking over to her dresser she took a comb, and combed her hair while waiting for his response. Her eyes were on the computer and in a few seconds he replied, “No, he and I are lucky to be friends with you. You must have known him for years to become his best friend”.

She sat back on the chair and twisted her lips as she typed her replied, “Yeah, we’ve know each other since we were babies”.

“You must love and adore him”, he responded.

She smiled, “Yeah I do but as a friend.”

“Are you sure it’s nothing more than that?” he asked, “People always said, first start with a friend then into a lovers,” inserting a teasing smiley icon.

She poked her tongue at the computer as if he could see her, “No, nothing more or less. I love him as my best friend. I haven’t found my type of guy yet.” she explained.

“Oh, really?” he had responded, “May I know what is your type of guy, if you don’t mind?”
