3 Years (a Joshaya/Jaya/Josh/Maya fanfic)

"I really do love you."

Maya's POV.
We were now leaving Washington D.C. I'm sad to leave because I have been having a great time being here and staying in the same room as Josh, being around him all the time. I was lying in our bed with Josh's arms wrapped around me until he kissed my cheek saying "Wake up Maya." I groaned. "Noooo. I don't want to leave." Josh chuckled and then picked me up. I was startled. "Wait, what are you doing?" I shouted. "Waking you up." He then ran me out to the hotel pool. "I'm up! I'm up!" I laughed. "Promise to get up?" He asked smiling. I glared at him. I nodded. "This is more fun." He laughed and threw me in the water. "Josh!" I screamed. I splashed water at him as I got out and jumped on his back in attempt to get more water on him. "Get off me you little ferret!" He shouted. I giggled, remembering that. "Fine." I replied jumping off his back. We walked back to our room and I dried off and changed. Josh did the same. We finished packing our stuff up and exited our room. When we did Riley gasped. "What happened to you guys?!" Obviously talking about our wet hair that hadn't fully dried. Josh and I looked at each other and laughed. "Ask Josh." He responded with. "Hey you were the one who wouldn't wake up." "You guys are so strange." Farkle said. We then all got on the bus and of course I sat by Josh. "I'm sad we're leaving." I sighed. "Yeah but it was fun." Josh responded. "Very." I gave Josh a quick kiss. He smiled at me. I can't believe this happened. When I saw him at christmas I fell for him but after his continuous acknowledement of our age gap I always thought he didn't like me. I guess I was wrong. I was still staring at his smiling face. Goodness, I do love him. "I really do love you." I accidentally said out loud. "I mean I didn't mean to say that it just came out and-" Josh cut me off. "I love you too." He giggled. I then layed my head on his shoulder and just thought. All of a sudden I realized. My mom doesn't know about us.
