I woke up to the sunshine streaming through my curtains, the birds were chirping outside,
I could hear the faint bounces of the basketball the James and Jake must being
playing with trough the window, Amanda and dad were down the stairs because you could
their laughs.
Today felt like a surprisingly good day, maybe because I had my first day off or because
of the fact that I had a really good sleep, but I wasn’t sure.
What I found out yesterday about brad was that he was very comfortable, not comfortable as
in his clothes but comfortable as in with new people, he is very funny and easy going even
with new people and it kind of made me jealous how easily he would be able to make friends
even though he had that intimidating look about him as well, his eyes kept me curious and
kind of scared but his smile said friendly and kind, it made me wonder what he was like.
Thinking about Brad made me remember what we were talking about yesterday about trying
new things.

'Hello?'I asked into the phone, my voice was questioning and I hoped I dialled the right
number.
'Hi' a woman said into the phone, she sounded very posh and I assumed she was Alexis mother.
'Is this Alexis mum? You teach dance?’ I questioned into the speaker.
‘Yes, I am, how can I help? Are you a friend of Alexis?’ she replied, she sounded very friendly and I knew I would get along with her if she taught me dance.
I had been quite a long time since I ever done something I actually wanted to do and it made me happy and proud of myself, it sounded weird but it was true.
‘Yeah I’m Maddie and I was wondering if you could give me private dance lessons?’ I admitted kind of shyly.
Half of me was hoping she would say no, what if I embarrassed myself and what if she told Alexis how crap I was, and what if none of them talk to me. Now that would be embarrassing.
‘Well how much do you know about dance?’ she exclaimed and I froze for a minute, I didn’t have any experience.
‘Well I have seen a lot of dances, like in Hawaii when they dance the move the feet a little its mainly about the upper body, but in Ireland it’s all about the legs, but other than that I don’t know much and I have no experience’ I told her honestly, if I lied she would surely notice because when she asked me to dance I would have no clue what to do, honesty is the best policy.
‘Well even know you have no experience dancing yourself, you know you research and that enough for me to take you on, what type of dance would you like to study I teach ballroom but that’s not very popular for people Alexis age so I assume you won’t want that one, but I also teach belly dance, hip hop, modern and ballet’ Sarah babbled, she must be very fit if she can teach all those, she was right know ballroom wasn’t what I wanted to do and I also didn’t really want to do belly dance.
‘Well can you please tell me prices of them all and like a time schedule’ I commented, I needed to fit times and prices with work, as I needed my job to be able to pay for the lessons and to get the money I had to be in on time.
‘Well I’m quite busy this summer, but I’m sure we can come to some sort of arrangement for the times. Belly dance is $60 per month as is all the rest but we do a deal of hip hop and modern mixed for $70 per month’ She told me and I didn’t know if I should of felt happy about the price or not.
