Texas Tomorrow

I grabbed as many clothes i could grip in one handed shoving it vigorously
In my bag for Texas tomorrow.

Unfortunately cowboy said we'll be staying there for about a week
Because of a fiesta or something like that.

" What about Maddie Hamilton? She's pretty." My Mom said

Oh,and did I mention both of my parents are in my room,setting me
Up in a fixed marriage?

" No." I said bitterly as I continued packing my things.

" Ooh I know! What about Victoria Kuc!" My dad exclaimed like he
Solved the problem.

Yeah sure,If i agree marrying her.

Mom and I looked at him,

His jolly expression then disappeared as he sat down at the edge of my bed.

" Honey,Who do you want to marry among those girls we mentioned?" My Mom said her brown eyes gleaming,a small smile on her face.

It was hard to answer that,they don't know I'm in a relationship,yet.

" No one mom." I said softly as i zipped my bag closed,

" Well there should be someone at least one,soon you're going to be the head of this company,and you need someone to run it with you,someone who's parents owns a famous company too Farkle,Cause if it's some girl she doesn't have any experience of running a huge company," My mom rambled.

I stood quiet as i stormed out of my own room.

This is very frustrating,Stood at the balcony where i usually hang out
When i'm stressed.

And took my cigarette out,

I sighed frustratingly

I remember,ever since now that I'm in a relationship with Riley,I'm not allowed to smoke or drink.

Obviously she set that rules because she loves me.

I smirked at the thought as I threw the cigarette with such force.

I don't want those other girls,I only want Riley.
And If they can't accept that,It's fine.

I'm marrying someone for money? For possessions? That's not how
It works.

Maybe that's how my parents end up,A fixed marriage.

But I don't want to be like them,Yes i love my parents,
Especially dad,since we grew a stronger bond ever since the sneaking food at my own house incident.

I used to hate him back in the old days,but i never disobeyed him,

In some important things of course,

I couldn't disobey my parents,

But in this situation of them making me marry other girls
That's inappropriate.
