" Are you sure you want to join?" I asked for the seventh time

" Yes Maya I'm sure." He said in an annoyed tone

I thug his arm with a worried expression on my face
He looked at me with narrowing eyes.

" Maya sometimes you need to have faith in me!" He shouted
Which took me by surprise

I was just concern,

" If you get injured from that stupid bull riding competition don't talk to me" I said walking away taking my phone on the counter

" Ever." I continued as i half opened the door.

" You guys know we're here right?" Farkle piped in while Zay and Riley nodded
Nibbling on a bowl of peanuts.

I went out slamming the door behind me.

" Can you believe her?!" Lucas exclaimed as i rolled my eyes.

" I'll go follow her." Riley piped in,i grabbed her arm which made her look at me

" She needs to have a bit space for thinking," I replied
" Trust me after about two minutes she's gonna realize something." I assured her.

She stood up,and we followed to Pappy Joe's jeep.

The whole ride was silent,and I can't help but notice Lucas taking sudden glances
At Maya once in a while.

Maya in the other hand is full of rage and anger,it was pretty obvious in the looks of her eyes.

I tighten my grip on Riley's hand,she noticed and looked at me.
I looked back and gave her a small smile which she gladly returned

I don't want Riley and I's relationship to end up in
The dump.

It's just too precious.

The silence wasn't awkward the whole ride
We have different thoughts running in our minds which is usual during rides like this

After a good thirty minute drive,we we're here.

Maya went out first,and all of us followed,Jumping out the jeep

I took a hold of Riley's hand as she stepped out.

I heard Zay huffed and ignored him to our way to
The bull-riding competition.

" Maya bull-riding competition is this way" Riley shouted,Maya stopped
Fast walking and craned her head.

" I know." She said and continued to walk.
" Good luck with that bull,You can't even ride on Judy the sheep for one minute!" Maya said in a sarcastic tone not daring to look back at us

" That was suppose to be our secret! I can't believe you!" Lucas said his cheeks reddened
In embarrassment.

Lucas huffed and made his way to enter the competition

" You're riding Tombstone the bull?" Pappy Joe exclaimed shocked by the news as we
Stood in the tent

Lucas just gave a nod and focusing at the bulls in their cubicles

" You can't even ride Judy—" Pappy Joe said but was cut off by
Lucas.

" I know!" His voice rising,full
Of anger in the tone of his voice.

" And they said i have anger issues." I muttered under my breath,and chuckled quietly
As Zay and Riley gave me a livid look.

I threw my hands in the air as a sign of surrendering.

After Lucas signing up the bull riding competition
We waited at competition grounds.

" I'm the fourth rider." He announced proudly,After he went back from
Signing up.

Riley and I strolled around the sheep that we're preparing for the
Kids to ride on soon.

The intercom announces it was Lucas' turn,Zay saluted before he went in
Wearing a protection vest and a helmet.

The bell buzz,Lucas is now seated on the bull.
The gates open.

The bull ran anger filled and livid,as it groaned.
Lucas was hanging tight on Tombstone's horns while the bull shook his head in attempt for him to let go.

He ran and hit the walls that kept them in,as another attempt for him to fall over
A gasp escaped Riley's lips as she covered her mouth with her cupped hands.

" You can do it Lucas!" Zay cheered,

You can feel how intense the scene was,By the screaming audience
Watching Lucas risking his life for this competition.

It was pretty entertaining tho.

Sorry but I'm honestly not sorry at all,He was flirting with my girl
And that is not good.

You might say hey that was from the past

I don't do let go.

He reached exactly forty-two seconds while on the bull,he fell off grimacing
As groans escaped his lips.

The audience was silent for a moment,Zay opened the gate to get in
We followed

And helped him get up,I looked at Maya from afar witnessing the scenario
Silently.

Then the crowd yelled and shouted,

It was a new record.

" I can't believe it" Pappy Joe said with wide eyes.

Gotta admit it was impressing.
