To Forget

" Hello?" I mumbled through the phone, as soon as i answered it, i rubbed my eyes due to lack of sleep,and waited for the other line to talk.

" Farkle, Pappy Joe, wanted to know if the squad is coming." Lucas said,and i frowned,in a manner that is confused,

I nearly forgot that he can't see that,and he's just listening to the silence.

" Uhm,you never mentioned that to all of us? A trip to Texas? I assume.." I said through choppy words,and he hummed for a mere moment.

" Well,yeah next week we are,hopefully you guys are available,it's been a long time since we all hang out,and i have to admit i do miss it." He said and paused

" Alot." He continued in a low tone.

For once I actually felt empathy,since i know the feeling of longing for the people who once brought joy to you,and created memorable memories.

" I do too.." I agreed,biting the inside of my cheek,and trying to fight the thought of Riley forcing itself in my mind.

" Well..." He sighed " I have to end the call here,Minkus,I still need to call the others if you dont mind." Lucas said.

" Yeah,no problem freak face,and i'll try to come." I said to him,as he groaned and ended the call.

I let myself fall backwards on my bed,and inhaled deeply and closed my eyes.,it was frustrating as to how,Riley and I ended up because of my parent's wanting.

Hard knocks echoed in my room,i looked at my door to see who'll enter.

" Hello?" It was Smackle.

my eyes rolled at the very back of my head,

" Yeah?" I said softly,not minding to see her face,or even look at her in general.
She entered my room,with a plate on her hand.

" Just thought that maybe you're hungry,I-i mean i figured since it's one pm and you havent ate breakfast or lunch." She said tucking her hair behind her ear.

" No thanks." I said as she just nodded and left.

I was at a coffee shop,writing poems that my heart screams to write,i tapped on my laptop's keyboard and wrote whatever that my mind rolls out on.

Until.

Lucas is calling...

I answered the call without any hesitance and held the phone over my ear,
" Hello?" I said softly and waited for him to answer.

" Woah,what happened to you." He said and i was confused of what he said.

" Pardon? What do you mean Friar?" I said with a serious tone,

" What happened to 'Lucas!! Hi!!' Where's Riley?" He said sounding genuinely shocked of my sudden changes.

" I'm still me Friar,i just became mature that's all." I laughed at his reaction.

" Well anyways,that's not the reason why i called you." He said as i listened carefully and waited for an answer.

" Go on" i said and he continued.

" Want go back to back to Texas? I figured you guys enjoyed it,and Papy joe invited you all,it has been a hella long time since we all reunited.and i do miss you all." Lucas said sincerely.

" Well." I said thinking for a moment,feeling hesistant.

" I'll try okay? But i can't promise." I said biting the inside of my cheek,afraid of what he'll say.

" Oh yea sure,no problem." He said and ended the call.

I sighed heavily at the sudden events that happened,
Just hopefully he isn't there,because i', trying my hardest to forget about him

To forget about what we once had,

To forget the pain.

To forget Farkle Minkus.

OH MY,GOOOOD ITS BEEN MONTHS AND IM REALLY SORRY,I BET YOU GUYS HEARD ME APOLOGIZE A MILLION TIME BUT hey.
