this was from like two weeks ago
i dont even know.
anywho,
it is statistically proven that if you practice one thing for a total of ten thousand hours
you will become a master/professional/absolute boss at it.
it doesn't matter how much you suck at it when you start
if you practice enough it will benefit you.
ten thousand hours sounds like a crap lotta time, but how do you think bill gates became a technology genius? how do you think the most skilled musicians in the world achieved their statuses? elite violinists practice hours every day, even if they know they're already amazing at it.
so take this as a kind of motivational thing.
im pretty sure most of us here are young teenagers who still have some extra time in their days
so use that time to practice whatever you want to become an expert at
if you work on it for around (dont quote me on this i cant mental math in summer) fiveish sixish hours a day for like around fiveish years then you'll have completed roughly ten thousand hours. if you dont have a lot of time then you can just half that to ten years of 2ish 3ish hour practices a day.
by that time we could be masters of it when we're young adults.
i mean thats kinda exciting to think about.
being "naturally gifted" literally has nothing to do with the process, so it doesnt matter if you already really suck at it or if youre already really good at it.
it makes me want to learn to play an instrument because im not musically talented at all
hm.
well i hope this inspires you dudes have fun
