Austin

"So who will be hosting thanksgiving dinner?" Since thanksgiving is just about 3 weeks away it's time to start getting stuff together.

"Well we can't have it here because we still need to finish fixing up the place. It's been years since we lived here." Raquel said as she finish cleaning the kitchen.

"Maybe Shae or Jason will have something at their place." I know for a fact Jason won't. He doesn't like having a lot of people at his house.

"Maybe Shae. I'll call here." I pulled out my phone and dialed Shae's number.

Shae: Hey daddy

Me: Hey. Are you having thanksgiving dinner at your place?

Shae: Uhh I don't know. Let me ask the girls. Hey y'all we having thanksgiving here or no? My dad needs to know.

Ashley: Hey Mr. Austin, yes we are.

Me: okay

Brooklyn: Be sure to tell grandma not to throw knives! She gets mad if she doesn't get the first piece of Turkey.

Me: okay. Well I gotta go.

The girls: Bye!!!

"Shae said she'll have it at her place." I put my feet up on the ottoman and got ready to close my eyes.

"Dad!" I jumped up!

"What Jason?"

"I need your help." He was pacing back and forth.

"With what?" I asked confused.

"I spilled the whole pitcher of kool-aid and I don't have anymore." Really this nigga came all the way over here, half near dead to complain about kool-aid.

"Really?" I asked with a straight face.

"Yes dad! It was pink lemonade! That's my favorite kind." He whined

"Can't you just go to the store and buy some more?"

"That's too much work dad!" Damn this boy worse than a kid.

"Jason what the hell your crying for!" Raquel walked into the living room.

"Mommy! I need some kool-aid." He hugged her legs.

"Boy if you don't get your big ass up!" She laughed.

"There's some kool-aid in the cabinet. Just take two packs." He ran to the kitchen and got the kool-aid.

"See y'all on the flip side! Thanks! Love y'all." He ran out the door, down the drive way.

"Well that's was interesting." Raquel sat down on the couch with me, and laid her head on my chest. She's been by my side since we were 14. She's my ride or die.

Shae
