She was fine. Perfectly fine till dinner. She was eating her slab of meat, like everyone else at the table, than grabbed my arm. Her grip on me was so tight, I though that she would break her hand. I started yelling to her then she started choking and making gasping noises.
"Don't just stand there and watch her choke, someone call the medic!" I yell to anyone who will listen. immediately, Eric jumped up and ran out of the dining hall. I turned back to Scar, who was now unconscious.
"No, baby, stay with me." I whisper. I then start CPR.
"Come on baby." I whisper again, this time with a few tears falling from my eyes. But there's no use, she's stopped breathing.
After I continued CPR, her eyes fluttered open then closed again.
"Get the fucking medic in here! We don't have all day!" I yell again. Soon the medic runs up with his bag.
"What happened?" He asks in a hurry.
"I-I don't know, she was eating then started choking like she was dying then went unconscious. She just fluttered her eyes, but she was out as soon as she was before." I explain. He nods his head, then picks her and carries her out of the room.
"I'm going to have to put her in surgery so I can see what happened." The medic states. I furrow my eyebrows and start to walk behind him, but I'm stopped by two hands on my arms.
"Four, stop, you can't go in there." Eric states lowly behind me.
"You can't stop me." I growl, trying to rip myself away from his grip.
"Four. Stop, I need to explain some things to you ." He states. I look down the corridor once more before I follow Eric to his dorm.
He closes the door, then takes a seat at his desk.
"We all know that Ryan is Scar's father, and we don't know why he is here but from what Scar told me, it's not good," he pauses then looks up to me,"It was Ryan's plan to poison Scars food. He was going to kill her, so throw him out of Dauntless, I had Scar tell me what he did to her and I told the counsel, but Ryan still managed to get to her food." He explains. I furrow my eyebrows and shake my hands.
"How is that even possible? I mean, how did he KNOW that she would choose the first steak? How did you know that he was going to do that to her?" I asked in a panic. He shook his head and walked up to me, placing both of his hands on either shoulder.
"I know you probably think that I had something to do with this, but I don't. Yes, Scar and I have had a few bumps and bruises along the way, but honestly, I want to try and help her. Ryan thought that I was against her and told me what he planned on doing. I then went to her and asked her to tell me what he did to her so I can take it to the counsel and have him exposed and taken out of Dauntless. Four, I never would purposely harm Scar, I know how much she means to you." He explains, then looks down.
"Eric, tell me honestly, is she going to be ok?" I ask wearily. He licks his lips then looks down. When he looks back up at me he has tears in his eyes.
"No Four, the poison that Ryan used killed Scar, she's gone."
