When Eric told me that she wouldn't make it, I completely lost it. My soul felt like it was on fire. My veins itched like someone lit a match. The burning and itching traveled up my arms till it got to my eyes. It was like a river of tears. Hot, salty tears ran down my cheeks and soaked the collar of my shirt.
I am now in my room and I've been contemplating whether I should go see Scar or if I should save me the pain and not. With my stubborn heart and mind, I clean myself up and walk to the Medics office.
"Four, I'm glad you came, I might have something that could save Scar. She's barely alive and if you do this, it could potentially save her." The medic states in excitement. My heart skips a couple beats and I start to smile. Laugh even.
"What is it? Tell me, I'll do, I don't care what it is, I'll do it." I reply frantically.
He leads me to his office then pulls out bag. Blood bags.
"You see Four, because this poison destroyed most of Scars blood cells, she needs more blood to survive it she will die," he pauses then looks at me seriously,"you have the same blood type as her, I am asking you to give her some of your blood." I nod my head then roll my sleeve up. The medic shakes his head and looks down.
"Four, you don't understand, I am going to have to fill two of these bags.
