It was a quiet day in Masyaf, the birds were chirping, it was hot as hell outside and the people are doing their daily tasks. Everything was quiet until.....

"Move!"

"Outta my way!"

"Excuse us!"

"Sorry!"

A girl with H/l H/c and e/c eyes rode on a horse with her little sister cradled in her arms. "y-y/n" Y/L/S/N choked in pain as they rode. "Hang in there L/S/N, we're almost there just a little further now" y/n tried to comfort her sister as they made it to the hospital (is that what they called it in Altair's time?) Y/n jumped off of the horse then carefully picked up L/S/N before running into the building. "Someone help us, please!" Y/n called out in desperation. The doctor looked up and immediately went to work. Taking L/S/N from Y/n's grasp he quickly brought her to a room. Y/N tried to follow but was stopped by a nurse who gently stopped Y/N and shook his head no. Then he had Y/n take a seat before asking what happened. A scream sounded from the room as Y/n quickly went quiet, putting her face in her hands. Seeing that the nurse sighed "Is there anyone you can think of who will be willing to stay with you?" The nurse asked putting a hand gently on Y/N's shoulder. The girl took a moment to think before mumbling through her hands

"Altair Ibn-La'Ahad and Malik Al-Sayf" with that the nurse quickly left to send a letter off to the two friends.

A few hours later there was still screams a pain coming from the the room and with each scream Y/N wanted to break through and to comfort her little sister but she knew she couldn't. "It's your fault, it's all your fault" Y/N mind kept on repeating the same thing in her head in a constant loop. It was driving her mad she actually began to build a wall around herself just in a few hours. Now she stares blankly at the ground. Her head between her legs trying to escape this horrid nightmare hoping it was just a dream. "It's all my fault" she mumbled to herself. She heard footsteps coming descending down the hall towards her. A hand was placed on her shoulder Y/N tensed up but kept her hand down. "Hey N/n come on look at us" a gentle voice was said. Y/N peaked out to see Malik and Altair, who were both still in their robes. "We came as fast as we could" Altair said looking at Y/N with eyes full worry, though he still kept his emotionless mask on. Another scream was heard and that was the last straw. Y/N quickly stood up from her place and tried to barge into the room but was stopped by Altair. She struggled and struggled but Altair pulled Y/N into a hug to keep her from hurting him and herself. "Altair let me go! She needs me" Y/N struggled some more causing Altair to tighten his grip. " Hey, Hey, It's going to be okay Y/N, Y/L/S/N is tough she will make it" Altair whispered in her ear along with other calming things. (me: Who knew Altair has a soft spot *wiggles eyebrows* Altair: HEY! I'M NOT SOFT! Me: THAT'S BULLSHIT! Connor: AKI DON"T CUSE! Me:SOOOWWWWYYYY Connor: I forgive you) Eventually, Y/N calmed down enough that Altair was able to sit down with her and still kept an arm around her encase she decided to try again. Altair looked at Y/N seeing how distraught she was. Her hair was all over the place, her eyes red from crying, and her hands quivered. He and Malik knew that they will have to ask what happened because the nurse from earlier has to get information of the incident for the doctor. "Hey Y/n, I really hate to ask you this but what happened" Malik asked as quietly as he could, for he was afraid that the subject will completely break Y/N.

The distraught girl quickly took a quivering break and went silent. "Y/N, you have to tell us, please" Malik urged Y/N. Another minute gone by until Y/N spoke "Alright, I'll tell you", she took a moment to gather her thoughts. Malik and Altair listened closely as Y/N began speaking.
