It was a quiet night in good old New York. The brisk smell of salty water was clear in the air. The moon was covered by the clouds, though only slightly.
Two figures stood underneath a bridge away from the eyes of people. "I-I don't know Haytham" a h/c young women looked at Haytham. His eyes glanced looked over at her, motioning for her to continue to say what she has to say. "I don't think I want this anymore" Haytham frowned, he could see right through her lie. "You are scared" he simply stated the fact that Y/n could not say. "You are scared that if we are discovered we would be executed" Haytham saw a slight nod from his lover. "I do fear that, but I fear what they would do to us before they end it" She did have a point, if either of their factions found out that one of then is having an affair with the enemy..there is no telling what they would do to get the Intel they need. "But that is not going to happen my love" Haytham grabbed her hands, holding them together with his. "But it cou-" "and if it does I will do everything in my power to protect you from thlse who wish us harm" Haytham said confidently. "I love you, Y/n, no matter what we are." He implored the women he loved, his eyes begging flr her to stay.
